Black Sabbath, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath album art reimagined. 🤘🖤
The original version of this piece I did was actually inspired by Ozzy’s “Revelation (Mother Earth)” from his 1980 album Blizzard of Ozz and the everlasting unbreakable bond between Ozzy and Sharon. I love the sample of the sitting couple and had tried them in some different compositions before I landed on that version I used for my final original piece “Till The End”.
This version seen here, with Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel painting of God Separating the Earth from the Waters, was one I didn’t go with for the original, but I loved it and so decided to dedicate it back to Ozzy again and Black Sabbath and one of my favourite albums, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath as it felt like a good fit for the album and its tracks.

Still love you Ozzy! 🖤🤘

We’re back in Londonnnnnnn I’ll have a limited number of originals with me BUT if there’s anything on display in the Pulp Future exhib that you have your eye on and want to skip the delivery fee, order it by Wednesday, email me your order number and I’ll bring it with me to Coal Drops for you to collect.
Also have posters and maybe some Sale prints with me and of course limited editions but no I won’t have T-shirts or sweaters yet because SOMEONE forget to order them in time (me).

Fellow makers, crafters, artisans - from jewellery to art and homeware to the weird, wacky and wonderful: I’m taking expressions of interest to a potential new venture, The Makers Arms!

I’m an artist & maker. I’m also a retail professional from an interiors, buying & merchandising background. So, think cool store with artisan vibes, one of a kind gifts and completely unique finds that will make your mates jealous - a curated collection of handmade UK goods by real people. This is quality, not plastic, no 3D printed lumps meh, absolutely no AI - just awesome uncommon goods. And some of them could be yours!

You can choose to hire or stock your stuff for free, with different commission models, to help you control your spend and your income based on your own preference.

The store will be (hopefully!) located in the lively historic market town of Witney in Oxfordshire, right on the edge on the Cotswolds. With a great local mix of young professionals and families and a string of High Street refurbishment completing this year, Witney has seen plenty of new indie business in recent years and locals love to shop and support small business so this little gem of a store at the top of the high street feels like a real winner to us! ❤️‍🔥

I’m doing this because there’s not enough places supporting small makers and individuals. Not everyone can manage markets and fairs, or run a website,. Not all makers want to pay for their space in a store. Not all want to give up half their sale. I get it, I’m a maker! So this one’s for all of us!

I’ve been bouncing around with this one and some other ideas and wanting to do something cool with these butterflies and it kinda went off in a different direction for a Secret 7 design, so I can’t show that yet but this version that I didn’t go with feels too nice to be stuck on my phone camera roll so here you go world ❤️✨
I kinda want to use the idea for another album cover but we’ll see how the S7 comp goes first!
It was fun playing with the butterflies and making them more 3D and ideally I’d frame this up in a box frame or something, if I ever get round to finding a box frame. Not something you come across in antique stores that often and we all know I love me some antique frame shopping to go with my chopped up antique books 🙃 I can hear bibliophiles crying out in the distance. But when a little piece or work like this makes me feel this positive, I’m not sorry 🤷🏻‍♂️
Some sunny positivity to head into a sunny long weekend with. 🌞✌️

Speaking of which if you’re around the Oxfordshire Cotswolds area pop by The Plough in Finstock for an eyeballfull (claiming that as a legit word) of my work around their dining room. Then order some food, grab a cold pint and lap up the glorious weather in their garden.
I recommend it. Oxfordshire looks the most beautiful in the sunshine.
