Welcoming all our new followers! Appreciably, Darkroom Kitchen’s been a bit quiet for the past few months - but we’re still here! Jon’s getting a lot of love for his recent(ish…been a few years) cyanotype analogue discovery, the Vertotype - as a common sense reminder to ANYONE trying out Vertotypes…HEAD’S UP - this is NEW, no-one really knows how the chemistry works, it does use Potassium Ferricyanide and following some discussions about some new research that was done by Sarah Borge, just like Cyanotypes (and, well, pretty nearly
every other photographic process) it’s sensible to do these in a well ventilated space!
Also, it’s very sensible to wear gloves when you’re picking the nettles as well!
