The first tickle of Bluebells are out! (I am declaring that the collective term for bluebells now). I have given my camera a rest over the past 2 months. Sometimes a necessary part of the creative process. But with Spring getting into it's stride, so am I!

We haven't had the same snow here in Otley as many, but the Chevin was given a little tickle of winter this morning and I couldn't resist getting out. Some lovely frozen scenes and a few little critters too.

🎄I would like to wish all my followers, and everyone who has enjoyed my photography over the past year, a very Happy Christmas. The support and encouragement I’ve received this year — particularly from the good folk of Otley and the wider Yorkshire area — has been incredible. I’m hopeful for a more peaceful New Year (and a little bit of the white stuff wouldn’t go amiss either!).

A peaceful few hours spent in my favorite local woodland on the Otley Chevin. The ethereal fog transforms the familiar into the enchanting and I lose myself in the moment.

📸This was taken on a cold, quiet morning not far from home, at V***a Wall on the Chevin — one of those walks where everything feels slowed down and you come back a bit lighter than you left.

🍂Perhaps my final celebration of this years glorious Autumn Beech colour.🍂

I will never feel I have made enough of each autumn as it passes but that feeling will spur me on for next year.
