📸 Omagh Photography Club Awards Night 2026 🎉

We held our much-anticipated Awards Night on Friday 22nd May – a fantastic celebration of the creativity, skill and dedication shown by every member over the past season!

The big moment of the evening was revealing the results for Photographer of the Year 2025–2026, and we are thrilled to share the final standings:

🏅5th Place: Alasdair Patrick
🏅 4th Place: Peter Cummings
🥉3rd Place: Joanne Hawkes
🥈2nd Place: Arnie Livingston
🥇1st Place / Photographer of the Year 2025–2026: Paul Fox 🏆

A huge congratulations to Paul on securing his 3rd consecutive Photographer of the Year award – what an incredible achievement! 🤩

Paul made it an unforgettable night, completing a stunning double victory when he also took home the award for Shot of the Year 2025–2026! This prestigious honour was independently judged by our good friends and colleagues from Strabane Photography Club.

Some of our members recently headed off to Rathlin Island, hoping to capture some amazing shots of puffins! 🐦 While we didn’t manage to spot any this time, the day was far from a disappointment — everyone came away with some absolutely stunning images. 📸

A huge thank you and shoutout to our guide for the day, Johnny Mitchell , for looking after us and sharing his knowledge! 🙌

This was our third trip of the year, and we’ve got more adventures in the pipeline before we return again in September. 🗓️
