What if it rains ?? ☔️

In our pre wedding meet ups I often get asked by brides what to do if it’s a wet day. It’s an important question esp if you’re getting married in Ireland!! 🤣

Don’t worry, at this stage I know most venues inside out and where the best options are for photos. A wet day doesn’t necessarily rule out gorgeous photos. Sometimes it just means going inside. Sometimes there’s shelter in a porch or under a tree. Robyn had her heart set on this wildflower meadow at Limepark Estate, even her invites had wild flowers on them so I knew this was important to her. On the day we prioritised the wild flower meadow over everything else and used the lovely white umbrellas that Limepark have cleverly got on hand. These kept the rain off whilst still letting light through (actually really good, soft light) without the colour cast you can get from coloured umbrellas. Well done Limepark on doing your research on the brollies and looking after our couples. Well done Robyn and Aaron for braving the elements 🙌

From a windswept proposal on Killahoey Beach to a packed dancefloor in Clonabreany House… yesterday felt like everything coming full circle for Katie & Colm. 🍻✨
Colm first got in touch with me back in September 2024 while planning the proposal in Dunfanaghy, and we’ve kept in touch ever since. We did a Dublin city shoot earlier this year, grabbed a pint of Guinness together and chatted through the wedding plans long before the big day arrived.

And honestly, that connection matters.

For me, the best wedding photographs happen when people trust you enough to fully relax into the day. When you know their personalities, what’s important to them, how they interact with each other and the people around them… the photos become so much more than a checklist.

Katie & Colm’s day at Clonabreany House was colourful, calm, emotional and full of integrity from start to finish. One of those weddings where everything just felt right.

Thank you both for inviting me into such a huge chapter of your lives. It’s been a privilege documenting the whole journey from “will you marry me?” to “I do”. Hopefully we cross paths again soon for photos and/or a pint!

A big thank you to Erica my second shooter for making the trip and looking after my clients like they were her own 🤩

The lovely people who made it all happen✨:

** SARAH SAYS ** For the professionals who spend their lives in high pressure environments, your wedding day should be the one time you don’t have to “manage” the situation.

Yesterday’s dreamy wedding at was filled with a brilliant crowd of doctors who know a thing or two about staying calm under pressure. So, when the wedding cars didn’t show up I took the wheel and got the bride and groom to the venue. We didn’t miss a single beat or a single shot of that breathtaking wisteria.

Capturing this family for the second time (after shooting the bride’s sister’s wedding) is the ultimate compliment. I just wish there were more sisters!! Trust is the foundation of everything I do.

Are you looking for a photographer who brings both a refined editorial eye and total reliability? Let’s chat. Link in bio for enquiries.

Big shout out to my right hand woman for her incredible photos and client care 😉

Lisa & Rob decided on a Dublin City Shoot before their wedding ceremony so they could go and enjoy drinks and dinner immediately after the ceremony. What a day they got! ☀️

Then, they’re having one big party up in Donegal at the lovely Rathmullan House later this month. I’m lucky enough to get to shoot both occasions and delighted they’re doing it their own way ✨

If this is the dress for Day 1, I can only imagine what the dress for Day 2 is going to be like!! 😍

What a gorgeous summers day strolling through Dublin’s streets with Lisa & Rob. 📸

We did the city shoot before the ceremony so the couple could go and enjoy drinks and dinner with their family immediately.

I’m SO looking forward to DAY 2 at one of my favourite’s, Rathmullan House in May.

If you’re planning a city shindig and want to do it your way just give me a shout and we can work it out.

✌️Glad my clients feel comfortable enough to show their emotions on the wedding day. It’s usually a quick introduction and I’m part of the furniture!!! 🤩

If you want a photographer that helps you feel relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera but still gets the shots you’ve come to the right place.✨
