A familiar sight in the late autumn/winter night sky, captured last night, The Pleiades, a bright star cluster in the constellation of Ta**us - there are about 1000 stars in this cluster, it’s situated approximately 410 light years away, so the light here dates from the end of the reign of Queen Elizabeth I !

The second photo shows three deep sky objects, M52 a distant star cluster, together with the Lobster Claw and Bubble Nebula complex - all in the constellation of Cassiopeia. 🔭✨

Three of our ‘pack’ - Borgia, Maple and Athena. Getting them to sit still for the camera is a challenge, especially Maple at 9 months, but they are a very photogenic trio🤎🧡🤎
