I never thought for one moment this would happen 🤣🤣
On one of my days out last year I just sat there having a cuppa and I was joined by this hungry pheasant. They are gorgeous looking birds and it was an amazing experience.

This male blackbird with a genetic mutation condition called leucism was lovely to see at Hartshill Hayes. A leucistic bird is unable to deposit pigment correctly into its plumage and happens in around 1 in 30,000 birds. Have you ever seen one?

With spring just around the corner, I'm hoping to get out more and photograph more amazing things. Fantastic seeing a Red Kite over Ensors Pool today. Once nearly extinct in the UK due to persecution, they are now successfully growing in numbers.
It was up so high so not the best photo.
