Spent the afternoon with the Nuneaton Griff Ladies Football Club covering their game with Coventry City Ladies Development. A mix of heavy rain and glorious sunshine putting my skills to the test.

Not the best of conditions for football , Griff held their own 1st Half against a very strong Gornal Athletic and conceded late in the half to go in 1-0 down.

2nd half Gornal showed their class taking advantage of the weather conditions to put the young Griff side under pressure at the back and goals began to flow , scoring in the opening few minutes of the half gave them a great platform to open up.

Final Score Griff 0 Gornal 5

With a major rebuild late on in the season this young Griff team will only grow stronger, learning every week in a difficult league with no easy games they get stronger by the game , a lot of these players started the season playing youth football, to end it playing first team football shows their passion and drive.
