✨ A little walk, a beautiful dress, and one perfectly timed look back. 🤍

Moving between locations at The Old Vicarage Boutique gives me the perfect opportunity to keep photographing rather than simply walking from one spot to another. I love this one holding hands, the incredible detail of the dress and veil, and that glance back towards the camera bringing everything together. 📸

Walking through all their favourite people at Manor By The Lake, surrounded by smiles, laughter and a LOT of confetti. I love the way they’re looking at each other here, completely caught up in the moment while everything is happening around them. ❤️📸

🌿 The best photographs can happen on the way to the photograph.

We were simply walking to the next spot for their formal portraits at Thorp Garden when I caught this, hand in hand, looking at each other and enjoying a few minutes together. ❤️

That’s why my camera rarely goes down between locations. The posed photographs matter, but so do all those natural moments that happen in between. 📸

And that bouquet definitely deserves a mention too! 💐

There’s such a change in energy when a bride and groom walk back up the aisle together. The nerves have disappeared, the smiles get bigger and the celebrations can officially begin. 🥂

I’m always watching what’s happening around them too, the reactions from family and friends, the laughter and all those little unscripted moments that make every ceremony exit different. 📸

Now it’s time to celebrate !

Standing together, hands held, surrounded by the people who matter most and suddenly all those months of planning have led to this exact moment. ❤️

I love being able to capture the little looks between a bride and groom during the ceremony. They’re not looking at the camera or thinking about photographs… they’re simply living their wedding day. 📸

The room is full, everyone’s on their feet, and then the bride appears at the end of the aisle with her dad. ❤️

I always love capturing this part from the groom’s side. You get the bride walking towards you, her dad beside her, all the guests around them and the groom watching the person he’s about to marry getting closer with every step. 📸

One photograph, but so much of the story of their ceremony at Ashton Lodge captured within it.

🌿 A walk, a conversation, and for a few minutes… nobody else around.

One of my favourite things during the formal portraits is getting the bride and groom moving rather than keeping everything static. A simple walk together gives them something natural to do and moments like this start to happen. 📸

No big pose needed here. Just the two of them enjoying a little time together on their wedding day at Oakridge Golf Course. ❤️

Wedding portraits don’t always need to involve lots of posing. Giving a couple somewhere to sit, getting them comfortable and then letting the moment develop can create something that feels far more like them. 📸

🍇 A little wander through the vines, and a chance to enjoy a few minutes together away from the celebrations.

I really like giving couples space during their portraits. A little direction where it’s needed, then letting them walk, talk and enjoy each other’s company, that’s when those natural smiles start appearing. ❤️

And when Old Luxters Barn gives you a vineyard as the backdrop, it would be rude not to make the most of it! 📸
