92020 arrives into Peterborough this evening with 1S26 London Euston-> Glasgow Central.

The 92 was the train loco from Wembley Receptions, but would be piloted from Peterborough using 66728, the locomotive off 0E04 Whitemoor- Doncaster due to problems with the 92.

WCRC class 86 whirrs away from Nuneaton on 19th September 2022 with 11 Mk2s in tow working a London Euston to Lancaster relief service for the funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

86259 had hitched a lift on the rear from Euston to Rugby.

THE ELECTRIC SCOT âš¡âš¡âš¡

Back in January, myself and Steve enjoyed a trip to Glasgow aboard Locomotive Services Limited's InterCity charter, 'the Electric Scot'.

Travelling from Nuneaton to Glasgow and back, we had a wonderful day behind class 87 no. 87002, 'Royal Sovereign'. The Mk3 set is incredibly comfortable and the on train team could not be more helpful. Find out more about InterCity and their upcoming trips here: https://inter-city.co.uk

Pushing to Town…

InterCity Mk3 DVT no. 82139 leads the LSL InterCity set out of Nuneaton on 26th January 2022 with class 87 no. 87002, ‘Royal Sovereign’, at the rear propelling. The set was working the return run of the ‘Electric Scot’ from Glasgow Central to London Euston.
