“Actors, there is no need to go to London. Here is where you need to go.” That’s what Bruno shared after his session. 🙌🤍

Meet Bruno. An actor working across film, TV and period dramas.

This session came from a place of him wanting more clarity… headshots that felt aligned, intentional, and true to his casting types.

Nothing overdone, just space to explore different characters with subtle shifts.

When I did the consultation with Karen, she told me she’s always been quite critical of how she looks in photos.

But after seeing her images, she said:

“I feel great about how I look… and I’ve made a mental note to be less critical of myself.”

And that right there…
that’s the whole reason I do this.

Because so many of the people I work with have felt the same.

And if I’m honest, I’ve felt it too.

But when you take the time to pour into yourself, and step just outside your comfort zone…
something shifts.

And photography has a beautiful way of holding space for that.

This shoot was all about celebrating Leila stepping into a new decade. 🎉

She came into the studio ready to embrace turning 30 and brought such great energy with her.

Sometimes people think a photoshoot is just about the final images.

But the real magic happens in the experience.

The laughter.
Trying different lighting and poses.
That moment when you realise… actually, I look pretty great in these.

By the end of the session, Leila said she felt more confident, and that’s always the goal.

Not just creating beautiful portraits (that’s a given), but helping someone see themselves a little differently.

Because when you feel comfortable and supported, that confidence shows up in every frame.

And honestly… what a beautiful set of images we created.

“Celebrate being alive.”

That’s what Karen said when I asked her what she’d tell someone nervous about booking a shoot.

It’s all about honouring the chapter you’re in right now.

Karen reminded me just how powerful your fifties can feel when you fully own them.

Because ageing is a privilege, not everyone gets to experience.

Karen showed up fully.
Not to rewind time.
Not to shrink.

But to take up space and celebrate this season of her life.

So this is a reminder for the women who have lived a little.

Who know themselves better now.
Who are done waiting to feel “ready.”

This chapter is just as deserving of taking up space.
