Creating a “Post-Shower Interview” setup for 💡🎥

The goal with this scene wasn’t just to make it look good, it was to make it feel the way the experience itself feels.

After each participant tried ScentXpresso in the shower, we invited them straight into this interview setup to capture their honest reactions while the experience was still fresh. We wanted the overall mood to feel light, natural, uplifting, and calming — almost like an extension of that spa-like aromatherapy moment they’d just stepped out of.

To help achieve that look, we kept the lighting soft and motivated by the natural window light already present in the space.

Our Setup:
• Amaran 300C + Light Dome as the key light
• Amaran 300C + Spotlight Mount + Gobo for subtle background texture
• Natural daylight used to shape and motivate the scene
• Shot in S-Log3, then colour graded to keep skin tones warm and organic

Last week, we headed into Central London with the brilliant to capture a series of real, unscripted interactions for their unique Scent Challenge, and their upcoming new product launch next March.

Run & gun, low profile (without compromising on production quality)… and a lot of noses doing some serious work. And of course, we had to sprinkle in some Christmassy B-Roll of Covent Garden - it’d be rude not to! 👀
