4 years ago today, Briony & Ashleigh said “I do” surrounded by the people they love at The Pumping House 🤍

From the deep forest green tones complementing the beautiful surroundings, to a burst of colour filling the skies, every detail of their day felt completely them.

But beyond the styling, it was the moments in between that made this wedding so special — the nerves, the laughter, and the many happy tears shared before walking down the aisle.

A day full of love, emotion and unforgettable memories… and one we feel incredibly lucky to have captured.

Every now and then, someone asks us... “How did you two meet?” 🤍

The answer usually surprises people.

Long before Sheridale Productions, before weddings, before brand films, we were just two students making short films together at college. We had no idea those projects would eventually become the foundation of a business we’d build together.

Looking back, it’s funny how the smallest moments can shape the biggest chapters.

Not every barbecue ends with everyone getting their steak exactly how they like it.

This sequence from the MEATER Pro XL Launch Campaign was designed to show exactly what makes the product different. Four wireless probes. Four steaks. Four completely different target temperatures. All monitored remotely through the MEATER app, without anyone needing to stand over the grill.

But features only matter if they improve the experience.

That’s why the film doesn’t stop at the cooking. It ends where it should: friends gathered around the table, each enjoying a steak cooked exactly the way they wanted on a sunny summer afternoon.

As a small creative detail, we also remixed MEATER’s iconic jingle to give the sequence its own playful rhythm and reinforce the fun, energetic feel of the campaign.

Sometimes the best product films aren’t just about what a product can do… they’re about the moments it helps create.

Why You Should Write Each Other a Letter 💌

Not every emotion needs to be spoken in front of a room full of people.

For many couples, exchanging personal letters on the morning of their wedding becomes one of the most meaningful moments of the day.

A handwritten letter gives you the space to say everything that’s on your heart—without the pressure of standing in front of your guests. It can be full of promises, favourite memories, gratitude, or even the inside jokes that only the two of you will ever understand.

Unlike flowers or decorations, it’s also something tangible. A keepsake you’ll still have years from now, ready to read again whenever you need reminding of how that morning felt.

What you’re seeing isn’t a different shot - it’s the exact same clip, stripped back step by step until all that’s left is the original RAW footage.

Colour grading isn’t about making footage look fake. It’s about restoring the mood, shaping the light, enhancing the colours, and helping the final film feel the way the moment did in real life.

Every cinematic frame starts in RAW. This is where we bring it to life. 🎬

There are few moments more special for us than this.

Usually, the first time our couples watch their wedding film, we only hear about it afterwards. A lovely email. A kind message. Maybe a phone call.

So when Sinéad & Alex sent us a video of their family’s very first reaction, we couldn’t stop smiling.

From the laughter… to the sneaky tears… even the dog wanted to be involved!

This is exactly why we do what we do.

A wedding film isn’t just something you watch once. It’s something you’ll revisit for years, sharing it with the people you love and reliving moments that deserve to be remembered.

SCENTXPRESSO | Earth Day Campaign

Good design isn’t just about how something looks.

It’s about how long it’s built to last.

Created for ScentXpresso’s Earth Day campaign, this film highlights a product designed with sustainability at its core. Instead of replacing an entire unit when a component wears out, its modular design allows individual parts to be repaired or replaced—extending the product’s lifespan while reducing unnecessary waste.

Our goal was to communicate that philosophy through cinematic visuals that felt as refined as the product itself. Clean lighting, considered movement, and premium textures were all used to reinforce the idea that sustainable design doesn’t have to compromise on quality or aesthetics.

Because the most sustainable products aren’t always the ones made from different materials - they’re the ones designed to stay in use for years to come.

When should the speeches happen? 🤔

It’s one of the biggest wedding timeline debates, and after filming weddings for years, we’ve definitely got a favourite.

Our vote? After dinner.

By that point, everyone’s eaten, settled into the day, and the atmosphere feels so much more relaxed. It often leads to more genuine laughter, bigger reactions, and speeches that simply feel less rushed.

The one thing we’d avoid? Speeches between courses. 🍽️😅

Your guests want to enjoy their meal, your caterers want to serve it while it’s hot... and nobody wants to pause halfway through dessert for Uncle Dave’s 20-minute story.

Of course, every wedding is different, and there’s no single “right” answer. But if you’re weighing up the options, this is the approach we’d choose every time.
