Let me introduce myself properly — I’m Amayah, the face and heart behind Memories Captured by A. I’ve always been the girl with a camera in her hand, trying to save every moment before it slips away. What started as filming little vlogs on my phone as a kid slowly grew into a passion… and that passion became the business I pour my whole heart into today. 💁🏽‍♀️🥰

I’m a family photographer based in Nottingham, UK, specialising in portraits, weddings, couple sessions, and family photography — with my much‑loved non‑traditional new-born experiences that break away from the traditional mould. I adore capturing the magic in everyday moments: the giggles, the cuddles, the chaos, the quiet. The real stuff. 💍💌

My work is light‑hearted, natural, and rooted in storytelling — the kind of photos that feel like home when you look back at them years from now. Every laugh, every glance, every tiny detail deserves to be remembered. 😊✨

On 27th February 2026, I was honoured to receive Special Recognition for Brilliant Start‑Up Business at the Discover Ashfield Awards. - Ashfield District Council / Discover Ashfield 🏆

What makes it even more surreal is knowing this is my second year being recognised — a reminder of how far this little dream has come and how much love and support has carried it here.
