We’re sharing a paid participation opportunity from The Sisterhood Collective, part of Sequence, for women photographers in Nottingham.
The Sisterhood is working with the University of Nottingham on a project exploring female urban belonging in Nottingham city centre: the places we feel safe, seen, welcome, excluded, connected, or watched.
Across three workshops, participants will use digital photography, mapping and conversation to reflect on the city, with the project culminating in a public exhibition at Nottingham Central Library.
There are currently 2 places remaining, and the call is now being opened more widely to women photographers based in Nottingham beyond the Sisterhood’s existing community.
To take part, you’ll need to be able to attend all three in-person workshops in central Nottingham, contribute to the exhibition, and optionally complete an audio-recorded interview.
Please note that submitting the form is an expression of interest only and does not guarantee a place. Selected participants will be contacted once all entries have been reviewed.
Thank you fee: £350 in digital Sainsbury’s vouchers.
For more information and to register your interest, head to and use the link in their bio.
If you’re unsure whether it’s for you, feel free to message the Sisterhood directly.
