Simon & Shona, you absolute legends 💖

What. A. Day.

Matlock Bath was showing off in the best way possible and honestly, what a stunning place for a wedding. Streets full of colour, gorgeous views, and then these two casually finding the most beautiful little car park grotto the day before like it was just waiting for them. Iconic behaviour, honestly.

Also, can we take a minute for Shona getting on the flamingo boat in her wedding dress?! LEGEND. No notes. 10/10 commitment to the joy.

There were so many gorgeous bits woven through the day, but the pegs in memory of Shona’s dad absolutely got me. Such a beautiful, personal way to have him there with everyone ❤️

A day full of colour, laughter, bubbles, flamingos, dance floor nonsense, and two people who are just blooming brilliant together.

I WON MY FIRST FEARLESS AWARD!!! 😭🌈✨

I’m honestly absolutely buzzing to have one of my images recognised by Fearless Photographers. These awards are judged alongside some of the most ridiculously talented wedding photographers in the world, so to see my name pop up feels a bit surreal, very emotional, and VERY exciting.

I enter awards like this not because I think I’ve “made it”, but because they push me to keep growing, keep learning, and keep improving my craft. They make me look harder, try harder, and keep chasing those joyful, colourful, honest little slices of wedding magic.

And this image? Two gorgeous humans, sunshine, laughter, armfuls of flowers, and an explosion of rainbow confetti. Basically, my happy place in photo form 🌈

A massive congratulations to everyone else who won too! What an incredible bunch of images to be part of.

I’m off to do a little happy dance now. Possibly with a cup of tea. Definitely with a massive grin.

Beth & Tom’s wedding day was proof that the best weddings happen when you stop worrying about what a wedding should look like and throw yourselves headfirst into everything that makes you happy 💜

An outdoor ceremony in the sunshine. Hand-picked flowers. Rainbow confetti EVERYWHERE. Giant space hoppers. Barefoot races across the lawn. Garden games. A purple suit that deserves its own round of applause. A dance floor packed with questionable moves and excellent vibes.

And honestly? It was brilliant.

Every part of the day felt completely and unapologetically them. No pressure. No pretending. Just their favourite people, loads of laughter and a whole lot of joy ❤️

There were happy tears, emotional speeches, guests launching themselves across the garden, a very committed confetti tunnel, and one guest who got so comfy they decided a mid-afternoon nap was the way forward 😂

This is exactly why I love weddings like this so much. When couples create a day that feels like them, the magic takes care of itself.

What a day this was 💛

A gorgeous ceremony, outdoor speeches in the sunshine, the most incredible weather and a BBQ that guests are probably still talking about 🤤🔥

Pipperly Walled Garden absolutely delivered as always, and I have to give a little shout-out to their brand new prep room. It’s such a fantastic addition to the venue and makes those wedding morning moments feel even more relaxed.

Throw in a dreamy golden hour, two lovely humans and a whole lot of laughter, and you’ve got a pretty perfect wedding day if you ask me ✨💛

Okay but HOW was this my FIRST wedding of the bank holiday weekend?! 😭✨

Dan & Matt didn’t just plan a wedding… they basically created their own full-blown festival and honestly? It was one of the most utterly ICONIC days I’ve ever photographed.

We had two absolute queens officiating the ceremony, Mr Blobby casually making an appearance to object the marriage, Elton Wrong rolling in on a mobility scooter piano, confetti cannons, streamers, spark fountains, live performances from Living Joy, Sweet Female Attitude, Ultrabeat, Gaga tributes, ABBA madness and one of the BEST crowds I’ve ever witnessed 🥹💕

And can we PLEASE talk about the venue?! Binks Yard absolutely popped off for this kind of wedding. The outdoor stage setup, the festival vibes, the space for everyone to properly PARTY… honestly if you’re planning a fun, alternative, personality-packed wedding, I would fully recommend having a look at it 👏✨

What I loved most though was how unapologetically THEM this whole day was. No rules. No trying to fit into what a wedding “should” look like. Just two people throwing the most joyful celebration imaginable surrounded by everyone they love ❤️

Sometimes the smallest weddings end up feeling the biggest 💛✨

Kate & Chris kept things beautifully simple… just their favourite humans, a gorgeous little ceremony, some fun in the park and one VERY iconic confetti moment 🌈 💛

There was tea stop, tiny hands helping sign the register, bright colours everywhere, and so many little moments that felt quietly magic.

The kind of wedding day that reminds you it’s never about how big the wedding is… it’s about how it feels 💛✨

Also… can we PLEASE take a moment for Kate’s yellow ombré dress and matching shoes because I am OBSESSED 💛✨

A colourful wedding photographer called Rockett photographing lightsaber battles, Star Wars cakes, tiny Lego boutonnières and wonderfully nerdy humans doing weddings their own way?

Honestly feels like the universe lined that one up for me 🥹🌌

One of my favourite things about weddings is seeing couples unapologetically lean into the things they LOVE.

Whether that’s lightsabers in the evening, smoke bombs and neon portraits, or sneaking a tiny Han Solo into your buttonhole ❤️

Your wedding doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s.
The more you it feels… the better.

Now excuse me while I spend the rest of today trying not to wave lightsabers around my office making dramatic sound effects.

Hannah & Charlotte’s wedding day was the absolute definition of pure joy from start to finish 🌈✨

A sunshine-filled day at the most gorgeous venue, rainbow flags everywhere, the yummiest pizza, emotional vows, a confetti tunnel for the HISTORY BOOKS and a dance floor packed with energy all night long 💕

And honestly… their two little girls completely stole everyone’s hearts 🥹 From handstands on the dance floor to the sweetest little moments all day long, they were absolutely legendary from start to finish.

There wasn’t a dry eye in sight during the beautiful song and message they gave to their mums either 😭❤️ One of those moments that just completely hits you in the feels and reminds you what weddings are really all about.

This whole day just felt FULL of pride, love and people completely being themselves and that’s exactly the kind of wedding magic I live for ✨

Also… can we take a moment for that golden hour?! Because WOW.

Ay up, Nottingham 💚✨

Just married… now what?
Oh you know… quick wander through town looking like absolute ICONS, train swishing, bouquet in hand, catching the light like you planned it (you didn’t) 🥹

No big production.
No posing marathons.
Just you two, fresh off the “WE DID IT!!!” buzz, soaking it all in and probably heading for a pint 🍻

This is my favourite bit the slightly giddy, just-married, everything-feels-a-bit-surreal kind of joy 💫

And getting to capture it all in my home city?
Yeah… that one hits a little bit different 🥹💚
