On Sunday 1st September 2024 Key publishing held their annual buses Festuval, this year opened up to cars and land rovers. For bank holiday monday, I joined fellow Flickrite Olympianbasher720, for an action packed day in the peak district. The highlight was taking some pictures at the Wynatts Pass. Any way let the pictures do the talking.

I attended the now annual classic car show held in Ilkeston market place. I usually go early to try and avoid the crowds as it natually can get busy, was sun was a PIA for photography, but made the best of things. It was nice to chat to various people and friends and a good display was put on by all

The second of the Derbyshire events, based at Chatsworth House where buses ran on a variety of routes in the local area. Highlight of the event for me was to photograph the recently restored GM Leyland Olympian looking very much at home in the moors at Owler Bar.

The first of 2 events held in Derbyshire over consecutive weekends, This one was organised by Nottingham Heritage Vehicles Charity and hosted by Peak Rail. There were lots of interesting exhibits in attendance and I ventured out to try and get some out on the open road.

Always a nice social event, I headed down to this event held at the Great Central Railway Nottingham, at Ruddington. I spent much of the day catching up with various people and took a few pictures whilst out and about.
