Had such a fun shoot creating this first model portfolio 📸✨

We worked through a mix of clean headshots, fashion-style portraits and more relaxed editorial poses to build a portfolio with variety and personality.

One of my favourite things about these sessions is watching confidence grow throughout the shoot. By the end it always feels so natural in front of the camera 🙌

People usually just see the final photos, but there’s a lot that happens before the client even walks through the door 😄
Lights, camera settings, testing angles, moving things around 20 times… all part of the process.

This was this young actor’s very first professional headshot shoot for his agency, and he absolutely smashed it.
We worked through a full range of expressions together, keeping things relaxed, encouraging, and fun so his natural confidence could shine through.

I love guiding young performers through the process and helping them feel comfortable in front of the camera, because when they’re enjoying it, it really shows. ✨
