These blooms 🌸 It was a joy to capture branding photos, a modern floral studio based in Leeds, Yorkshire. provided a gorgeous backdrop for the shoot!

More about Hannah, the face behind Elder & Iris 👉🏻 "My approach to your flowers is to use the best of what is in season grown locally by myself and other local flower farmers, and to only use imported flowers and foliage, where necessary. This approach offers a more sustainable approach to wedding and event floristry which is an important value of Elder & Iris.

I love the way flowers make us feel, meaning they play a special part in many of life’s significant events. I am passionate about creating floral designs that complement the look of a venue and space, as well as the personality of an individual/couple. I often receive feedback that I have managed to create something that was what the person had in mind without them actually being able to express what that was".

Hello 👋🏻 I'm Charlotte!
This has been the busiest April ever for me, especially as wedding season has well and truly begun over at .jopling.weddings.

How's it been for you? What are you reflecting on?

As a new month begins, I like to reflect on what I'm grateful for and what I'm going to focus on in the next. It helps me cultivate positivity! So...

🎨 Used my creativity constantly
📲 Regularly shared my work
💃 One weekend off = danced my heart out!!
🌱 Got out into nature & long walks with my dog Pip

I love telling stories through photos, whether that's the story of your personal brand, the atmosphere as an event unfolds or the celebration of love across a wedding day. It's an amazing job and I can't wait to photograph plenty more across the summer months 🙏🏻

Headshots + workshop for retreat.

🕯In January I met this wonderful group of candle makers, or to use the correct term! They were attending a retreat led by where they worked through understanding their ideal audience and how to get PR ready for your business to increase your visibility.

👩🏻‍🏫 I delivered a camera photography workshop to the group, describing how to take better phone pictures and how to use them for your business advantage.

📸 We then braved the cold for some portraits, using the backdrops of the studio's car park - not that you can tell! It always amazes me how diffused daylight, laughter, and being creative with what's around you can make for great portraits.
