There’s been a lot of conversation lately about “authentic” headshots vs studio ones — and I get it. If everyone’s using the same plain backdrop, things can start to look a bit samey.

But studio headshots still absolutely have their place.

If a clean white background works for you and your brand, we’ll keep it simple. For others, it might feel more natural to shoot in your home or workspace to reflect where you usually are and help your audience connect with you. And sometimes, an outdoor setting brings that relaxed, genuine feel.

Even in the studio, we can mix it up with props, plants, or different backdrops to keep things feeling personal while still polished and professional.

I’ll always guide you on what setting will suit you and your brand best there’s no one-size-fits-all.
