NEWS JUST IN

I’m incredibly excited to share some rather special news…

One of my winning images will be exhibited internationally in Dubai, UAE, at the Art Smiley Gallery, from 5–7 February 2027.

From creating images here in Nottinghamshire to seeing my work displayed internationally — this is a chapter of my photography journey I’m incredibly proud of.

And that’s not all…

Before Dubai, there’s London.

Don’t forget that my award-winning submission from the Black & White Photographer of the Year 2026 competition will be exhibited at The Coningsby Gallery, London, from 18–20 December 2026.

My image placed #1,369 worldwide, within the Top 30% of more than 11,600 entries — a result I’m incredibly proud to have achieved.

Two exhibitions. Two countries. One very exciting chapter for PrismPix.

London in December.
Dubai in February.

And I’m only just getting started.

More details and images from both exhibitions to follow.

A WORLD BEYOND

There is something wonderfully innocent about a child’s curiosity — the need to see what is hidden just beyond reach.

A young girl in her dungarees peers through the wooden opening, determined to catch a glimpse of whatever lies on the other side.

A simple moment, but one that captures something timeless: the curiosity to look a little further, to wonder what might be waiting beyond.

Captured in black and white, a fleeting childhood moment becomes a memory preserved in time.

A World Beyond.

SHELTER FROM THE STORM

A fleeting moment on the Yorkshire Moors, captured from the car as a sudden snowstorm swept across the landscape.

The sheep huddled together, seeking shelter from the weather as the world around them disappeared beneath falling snow.

Shot in black and white, the storm becomes almost timeless — a quiet portrait of resilience, instinct and the raw unpredictability of the moors.

Sometimes the most beautiful photographs are the ones you never stopped to plan.

CONSUMED BY TIME

Once built for purpose, now slowly being reclaimed by the elements.

This forgotten mining crane stands weathered in the landscape, its rusted frame carrying the marks of years gone by. What was once machinery of industry has become a quiet monument to time, decay and the changing landscape.

Captured in black and white, the textures of rust, metal and weather become the story.

Consumed by Time.

Thank you Sam Greer Commercial Solicitor this is much appreciated!

We have some amazing businesses in Hucknall and I want to mention two and why they caught my attention.

Prism Pix Photography is owned by Steph who has been nominated for her incredible black and white photography and her images will be on display at the Coningsby Gallery in London.

We also have Nicola Crook Artist a regular attendee at Hucknall Business Club. Nicola has gone from strength to strength since she joined. She is now featuring her artwork at the Patchings Art Centre!

We are all incredibly proud of you both and wish you every success for the future!

Growth. By people. For people.

NOT TODAY

There are some faces that become part of a city’s story.

For generations of Nottingham people, the Balloon Man was more than someone you passed in the city centre. He was a familiar face, a childhood memory, a little piece of everyday Nottingham.

Captured here in black and white, with that unmistakable peace sign, this is a moment from a Nottingham many people will remember fondly.

Not today.
But perhaps yesterday — and what a lovely yesterday it was.

WHERE THE SEA HOLDS STILL

There is something about a harbour in black and white — the movement of the water, the quiet of the boats, the weathered textures and the feeling that time has slowed.

Sugar Mouth Harbour, captured without colour, becomes something a little more timeless.

A place shaped by the sea, preserved for a moment in shades of light, shadow and stillness.

THE LAST WAY OUT

There’s something quietly powerful about a place that feels like it’s leading somewhere… even when you don’t know where the path ends.

The Last Way Out — a fine art photograph inspired by solitude, atmosphere and the beauty found in the spaces we might otherwise walk straight past.

Captured for those who love art that makes you pause.

Would you hang this in your home?
Tell me where you’d place it — hallway, bedroom, living room or somewhere else?
