So glad to find this beautiful male Kingfisher just a few minutes down the road from my house on the Grantham canal in Cotgrave.
Quite surprised to see him as the water condition looks poor following the heat waves.

This was one of my favourite Kingfisher encounters in a long time.
This young male landed in a tree so close to me and stayed for several minutes, i love the feather detail and all the cobwebs.

This newly fledged Peregrine found itself stuck up a tree in a rain shower. Hopefully it's siblings will be fledging in the coming days😍
