ANNONCEMENT:
Team Reflector CIC are thrilled to formally announce our partnership with National Cinema Chain The ARC Cinema - more specifically (for us) Arc Cinema Hucknall and Arc Cinema Beeston.

Whilst some of the specifics of our working relationship are currently under NDA with 3rd parties (welcome to the film industry!), what we CAN say is that ARC will be the official sponsor of all our fundraising activities going forward, including some upcoming amazing outdoor events aimed at bringing together the local community of Nottingham to raise Mental Health Awareness and demonstrate how film making and creativity can be used as part of the MH recovery process! :)

After converting and Moobitmedia Ltd from a Ltd Production Company to a Community Interest Company (CiC), and after 11 months of work, pitching for a building and site of operations for our "Filmmakers with Mental Health" charity - codenamed "Operation Fezcam" by our viewers - we are now waiting on the decision on weather or not we have won the Tender for our first choice of site in Nottinghamshire! :D We couldn't have got this far without a lot of help from a lot of people - you all know who you are - and whilst we are still under a partial NDA on the specific details of the project until we know who won the Tender, Moobit can now update you Fezcam fans with more specific details of our project, who it's going to help - both within the Film/TV industry AND locally via "grassroots" campaigns and investments, and what the future holds for TEAM REFLECTOR CIC... :D :D

Affiliate Links & Commission Enquiries: Team Reflector by Moobitmedia Ltd | After converting from a Ltd Production Company to a Community Interest Company (CiC), and after 8 months of work, pitching for a building and site of operations for our "Filmmakers with Mental Health" charity - codenamed "Operation Fezcam" by our viewers - we have FINALLY been told we are through to the final 3 companies out of several, selected to pitch to local government for our first choice of site in Nottinghamshire! :D :D :D

We couldn't have got this far without a lot of help from a lot of people - you all know who you are - and whilst we are STILL under a full NDA on the specific details of the project, Moobit will now update you Fezcam fans out there with everything we are allowed to reveal so far!

If we WIN the site, we are going to be able to help a LOT of people with MH diagnosis - both within the Film/TV industry AND locally via "grassroots" campaigns and investments...

Moobit and Nick have been crazy busy these last few weeks prepping for stage 2 of - and now all the documents/shiny things are in with the Stakeholders, it's an agonising wait of 2 weeks to see if we can start stage 3... We can't WAIT to be finally able to tell you what this project is, because it's going to help a LOT of peeps both industry wide AND locally in Notts/S.Yorks... WISH US LUCK!! :D

In todays Vlog-Torial, Moobit has to provide Cinema Camera Gimbal Ops to an in-production MCU actor starring UNIT 19 Movie project... But he sold all his cinema gimbals during a period of poor MH... The gimbal we currently have (Zhiyun-Tech CRANE PLUS V1) is awesome - but mounting a small cinema camera (Z CAM E2-M4) AND Cine Lens is a no-no as cine glass is VERY "front heavy" - therefore the ONLY option is to use plastic Canon EF-S glass... which is NOT recognised by Z Cam cameras (meaning we can't pull focus!!) - so it's time to FRANKENSTEIN THIS BEE-ARCH!! Here's how we did it! :D

HOW DO YOU BREAK INTO THE FILM MAKING INDUSTRY WITH AN EXISTING MENTAL HEALTH CONDITION?? And what's it like day to day once you do?? What should you as an employer consider before hiring someone with diagnosed MH?? Hopefully we can help you answer some of these questions in today's vlog, as Team Reflector are hired by Rebel North Creative to help film a Whiskey Commercial in York Medical Society... Moobit was facing a PTSD/Anxiety crisis on Day 1 as this was the first time he had worked overnight, away from his "Anchor/Safe places" since his diagnosis a few years ago - yet he turned up, acted professionally, and got the shots regardless - with a little help from his Team Mates and some mindfulness forward planning - here's how we did it - warts and all! :)
