It’s with deep sorrow that I have to announce, after five years, the Studio will be closing with immediate affect (May 2026). I’ve been aware for some time that we could be hit with a massively increased Business Rates bill and have had to plan for such an eventuality. That time is now, and confirmation has been received that we would need to find close to £4000 annually to continue.

We don't blame the Government or the Council, they are just trying to get more money out of tax avoiding corporations. The problem is, as they scrambled behind the sofa looking for loose change, they destroyed something comfortable everyone was enjoying.

As you can appreciate, that makes it impossible for us to continue running the studio hire side and it’s time to move out and close the doors.

All of the equipment is now up for grabs at bargain prices, so do let me know if you might be interested before they go via the usual sites. DM me an email address if you want the up to date list.

I hope we have provided a good studio experience for everyone at realistic prices. It was always my aim to get as close to a professional experience as possible but at hobbyist / amateur rates.

Thank you for your support and custom over these past 5 years and I wish you all the best.
