A late posting from the 2nd of Sept. Rhiannon Box treated me to a birthday visit to Jimmy's Farm & Wildlife Park, we had such a lovely day the weather was kind and all the animals were chilling in the late summer sun. I also treated Annon to a tapir experience as its one of her favorite animals and I think she liked it 😁, there is no doubt that we will be returning again as there was much new going s on with new enclosure so this will be exciting to see whats next 😁.
Sadly a few days later from our visit we heard the sad news of Hope, one of there Polar bears passing, it was so nice to see them all on our visit and was sad to hear of the news, may her name live on ❀️.

Having missed out on the even last year, decided to pop along to this year's ink and engine festival for 2025 and wasn't disappointed, loads of cars and groups along with some very impressive art work both for the cars and tattoos, didn't manage to capture as much as I'd like as weather was a bit hit and miss, next year 😁.

A few weeks back we visiting Peter Beales Roses for there annual Rose Festival for 2025, we had such a lovely day wandering the always beautiful gardens with all flowers in full bloom, along with some great local makers and some sweet treats, what's not to like 😁.

With bank holiday Monday seeing some sun where nicer that we made our way to East Ruston Old Vicarage Gardens, as always the gardens were looking fabulous and with such variety there was plenty to take in πŸ₯°πŸ˜.

Another national trust visit whilst still staying in York, this time to Fountains Abbey & Studley Royal, National Trust in Ripon. With what still stands the Abbey is amazing to walk around and view what is still there whilst then moving onto another amazing view of the water gardens with its long lawns, statues and follies. Definitely worth visiting if you have the chance

Whilst staying in York for the week we decided to make good use of our memberships and visited Beningbrough - National Trust, the Halls were something special to admire with the Gardens looking in great condition with the right time to see the Alliums in full bloom.

Having our niece with us for a few days over half term, we decided to take a return trip back to The Bug Parc in Lenwade, but for our niece was a first timer. This is such a great place, and so unique for an invertebrate zoo, I've never known of another, there is so much to learn and see and so much going on as the parc continues to expand with a walk through butterfly house opening this year with more plans to grow. Highly recommended and will definitely be a regular returner. A personal favorite of the leaf cutter ants, I could sit and watch them all day.
