Megan and Ben, celebrating their wedding at the lovely and intimate Unthank Arms.

Like many couples, they had to push back and change their plans a few times but still had a fantastic day surrounded by their closest family and friends.

Warning: Image Heavy Post

This little corner of Thailand we're living is keeps impressing me. This morning Wisdom Valley hosted the Columbia Trail Masters trail running race, CTM2022. I wasn't competing (maybe next time) but I really wanted to experience some of it.

The CTM has 50km, 30km , 10km and a 6km fun run route which took the racers deep into the Khao Mai Kaeo hilly forests and around the impressively hilly Wisdom Valley tracks. The course started an ended at Wisdom Valley, so at 5am I quickly packed my camera bags, jumped in the car and got there to try and see some of the 50km starters.

In the pitch black, I slid into position in front of the starting line and grabbed some frames of the all the early starts before going out onto the trail to get some other action.

I knew a few colleagues were running, but amongst the 2100+ racers, I didn't think I'd get to see as many as I did! A huge congratulation to everyone that took part and all the organisers for putting on such an amazing event.

This year’s weddings have been incredible and I’ve been so honoured to book clients remotely over lockdown to document their huge day.
Jenni and Tom’s wedding was the first biggie of the year with unrestricted numbers and it was fantastic for things to be back to normal again.
Being welcomed in to be part of close friends and family groups coming together for the couple is an amazing experience. You both have such a loving and close group of friends and family.
Jenni and Tom’s wedding vision was impeccable. Beautifully themed and decorated it was flawless. I’ll share more details in a follow up post.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, small and intimate weddings are so bloody amazing to photograph!

Here's Bryony and Jim and this is what it feels like to finally get married. Their expressions tell you everything about how ecstatic they're feeling.

Their reception was at Little Massingham Barn, a beautifully restored barn out in the middle of rural North Norfolk. Set beside a copse (with bell tents for overnighting!) and tastefully decorated with vibrant art, it was the perfect setting for them both. Jim is a forrester and Bryony is an amazing painter and studio manager at the Norfolk Painting School! This couldn't have been a better venue.

Early last year I did a maternity shoot for Ker and George. A few days later the country was locked down and we all went into a time warp.

They had their gorgeous baby in extraordinary conditions just a few weeks after this photo.

Fast forward many months and later in the year we met up again for some awesome baby photos. Documenting these moments are always such fun and a real privilege.

Last weekend's Pop Up Studio shoot was such good fun! brought her two sons along and they were dynamite!

Prepped to perfection, they looked outstanding and were obviously full of shenanigans. 🤣

It was perfect, and we made some lovely, lovely photos of her boys.

Last week I got to shoot for the amazing 's newest development, Store. Set in the store of the original Coleman's Mustard water mill, this new restaurant experience is stunning.
Pulling this all together during lockdown must have been a huge challenge. Congratulations to the whole Stoke Mill team.

Before the year is out I'm planning one more pop up studio session! The last one was a sell out and here is some of what we produced.

As before, each session is for one child only but is now 20 minutes long. You can book additional sessions for siblings. Maximum 3 children.

Each session costs £20 and you'll be able to buy prints, display products and framed wall prints from a private online gallery. Prices start at £5.

Switching gears to studio shooting, my Pop Up half term children's sessions were completely sold out!

I was totally blow away by all their characters and we made some wonderful, wonderful portraits.

Here are a few of Hazel and Nancy's session to give you a flavour of what we produced.
