Autumn Bears!🍁🐻

Fancy an autumnal Bear filled adventure!?

I’m incredibly excited to be leading back-to-back photo tours in Finlands boreal forest this September, experiencing its INCREDIBLE nature, first hand. Autumn has long been my favourite season in which to visit Scandinavia for many reasons. Bear activity reaches its peak, temperatures are comfortable and vibrant autumnal colours create the perfect surroundings for wildlife photography! We often enjoy watching a host of the other species present and occasionally catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights. With several years of experience working in this part of Finlands wilderness, I can maximise our chances of capturing unique images during this special time of year.

With trips covering every season, BearPhoto offers the most comprehensive selection of Brown Bear photography tours in Finland. To join me on an Autumn photo adventure, please visit the link below. Don’t miss out!

Dates:
Autumn Gold | September 13th – 19th | One space remaining
Autumn Gold | September 20th – 26th | Spaces available

Queen of the forest… 🐻

I often think back to the serene moments in the boreal forest, when the notion of isolation was something to be treasured.

Brown Bears are the gentlest of creatures. I miss sitting and waiting for them to appear, silently wandering through their domain. In this environment, I feel incredibly grateful, knowing that it belongs to nature and I am the visitor. It’s fair to say that the past year and a half have been quite different for us all.

Over the past few months, I’ve been spending more time in the field. This inevitably led to less time focussed on social media, instead shifting towards new ideas and how to make more of an impact with the content I set out capture. I am excited to share some new ideas and projects with you over the coming months.

In the meantime, I’ll be channelling my inner bear. Resting, eating 10,000+ calories a day and scratching my back on a tree or two.

See you soon x

Norfolk's Grey Seals | November 23rd – 27th 2020

Me and Kyle Moore photography have put together an exclusive small group photo workshop, in our home county; on the rugged coastline of Norfolk. The workshop will focus on the incredible Grey Seal pupping season, when Norfolk’s beaches are filled by over 2000 Grey Seals.

With both a small group size in mind to reduce disturbance and to meet current guidelines, spaces are strictly limited. Now only 3 places remain, book now to avoid disappointment. If you are interested in joining this workshop, please request a trip itinerary, or get in touch by following this link: www.harryreadphotography.co.uk/norfolk-seal-photo-experience.

Magical Evening 🧡

The local Barn Owls have successfully raised their brood of Owlets. Here’s mum, navigating her way through the flies, hunting the meadow a few nights ago... Sorry for the radio silence on Facebook - I’ve been putting a lot of time in to a local lockdown photography project... This image took 14 evenings worth of waiting for 🤔 Stay safe and see you all soon... Oh and don’t forget to wash your hands!
