Sunday I got the chance to shoot at the Copper Box Arena with the London Lions basketball team. Might be seeing more of this very soon!

Norwich Lions Basketball Club third team had a tough game against Dereham Bucks with plenty of exciting action and intensity throughout. Being new to videography I don’t think I did too badly.

Branching out a bit from the usual automotive photography to some sports photography

The Lions faced off against Kings Lynn Kings on the 15th of September in a highly physical and intense encounter. The Lions got off to a flying start, dominating the first quarter by hitting three consecutive three-pointers and playing outstanding defense, ending the quarter with a commanding 26-11 lead.

However, the Kings came out in the second quarter much more composed, tightening up their defense and closing the gap. By halftime, the Lions’ lead had been trimmed down to just 34-31.

The second half saw a lot of physicality from both teams, with several heated exchanges and both sides talking to the referees. Despite the tough competition, the Lions managed to win both the third and fourth quarters, securing a hard-fought victory.

Final Score: Lions 78- Kings Lynn Kings 68

The Lions have another friendly tomorrow against Kings Lynn Baltics at 9 am, while Lions 2 will start their season with a game against the Silverbacks immediately after the friendly.
