I thought it was time to pop a little hello for me on since its been a hot minute and I have some new faces to my page.

I'm Harly, and this is my utterly gorgeous little feral child, Harvest. Being a mum is the best thing in the world that has ever happened in my life, I feel so intently passionate about the connection with him, which brings my passion on capturing your connection. I have a real love for old things, gold things, poetry & moving my body.

The things I love to do when I'm not chasing you with a camera are

🏃‍♀️ running crazy long distances (I'm a week off running my first 50km race! Wish me luck 🤞🏼)

🐎 bimbling around the farm with
our horses, my day job is managing the care for horses on a livery yard, how lucky am I?!

Adventures in my campervan, I have an old and very noisey VW, we don't get anywhere at speed, but it's part of the enjoyment in driving something so old

Hiking up really big hills, usually with my small human on my back although he has started to find his own hiking feet now

And lastly, barefoot foraging for the gifts the earth gives us, with a big ole dash of staring at the plants and trees and getting everso slightly lost.

I love making new adventure pals, hopefully one day we can adventure together 🌿

Time goes by so fast, the seasons change and before we know it, another year has passed. Tiny hands no longer seem so tiny, your baby is no longer a baby and you are another year into the journey that is parenthood. Documenting those tiny moments is precious.

This one is to you, to the woman that don't feel at home in their bodies, to one's that have lost love for the vessel that carries them from one day to the next. I see you and I want to celebrate you. I've been keeping something I've been working on a bit quiet, but I feel its time to share and celebrate my venture.

The power of social media is incredible, it's so accessible to everyone, but unfortunately it's full of unrealistic images at that have been tweaked and touched up, creating unrealisitc views on the body. Filters are often applied by your phone before you even chose one, and woman are losing touch of what beauty they truly hold. Female empowerment is something I feel strongly about, something more woman should be encouraged to grasp on to. Our bodies can get worn, cellulite is natural, stretch marks are the bodies path of growth and change, skin texture is normal, and wrinkles brought by age and smiling too much should not be seen as a bad thing.

Texture is beautiful, ageing is beautiful, gaining or losing weight is beautiful, stretch marks and cellulite are beautiful, scars from our past are beautiful, it all carries the story of who you are, beautiful.

This is the start of my path to empower as many females as I can. I'll be posting a mix of my empowerment sessions amongst my normal work. Let's celebrate you, as you are, unfiltered and raw, you're a woman warrior.

A feeling you're unable to put into words, ours eyes lock, if only for a second, not sure if you can really see my face, but you know me, my voice, my smell, the slow drum of my heart, its something you knew so well before we welcomed you earth side, sweet girl, you made a mother.

Capturing the first few weeks of a fresh newborn, whilst you're still finding your feet as a new parent, can feel quite daunting. Someone you're yet to know, coming into your personal space, whilst you may not be feeling your best doesn't sound all that great eh? But those few intimate moments frozen in photo form will be a treasured investment you're glad you made, I wish I had them. I never realised how important photos were until I started capturing them for others.

Oh and if you have pets, yanno, those first fur baby children, please include them, I'm always down for doggy cuddles!
