There is nothing quite like the magic of a travelling circus to bring a community together! We are throwing it back to this high-energy vertical edit we captured for Circus Ferrel during their visit to Mundesley.

🎬 Behind the scenes at Labyrinth Mini Movies!

When I'm not out on a video or photography shoot, I’ve been spending my time on a major side project: converting my Peugeot Boxer L2H2 into a custom camper van.

It is a work in progress, but the ultimate goal is practical utility. Once it is complete, it will serve as an off-grid mobile studio, allowing me to edit project files directly on location.

This is going to be incredibly useful for jobs where we deploy our powerful native 360-degree drone—giving us the power and space to process high-end cinematic footage right then and there, without needing to wait until we get back to the office.

From storyboards to solar panels, I'm thoroughly enjoying the challenge of building a mobile workstation from scratch.

Time flies! 🎥 I can’t quite believe it has been five years since we filmed this footage for the National Trust at the magnificent Tattershall Castle. It remains an absolute highlight and a testament to the power of cinematic video in bringing historic spaces to life.

What made this project even more unique was the logistics. Tattershall Castle is located extremely close to an active military air base. Because of this, it wasn’t a normal drone shoot; Labyrinth Mini Movies had to secure specialist permission from the base and maintain direct communication with the air traffic control tower throughout the entire operation.

A lot of restricted locations rarely get to enjoy aerial photography and videography for this very reason. However, when done properly, the correct permissions can be gained, and spectacular footage can be obtained in a completely lawful, safe manner—just as we achieved here.

Nothing beats the smell of fresh bread... take two! 🍞🤫

My wife asked me to make a fresh loaf of bread this morning, so I thought I'd film the process on our new Morphy Richards Fastbake. Now, full disclosure: my first attempt earlier this week didn't exactly go to plan. I misread the measurements and put way too much water in. Let’s just say it was less 'lovelily baked loaf' and more 'kitchen disaster'!

But that's the beauty of baking—you learn, you adjust, and you try again. This time around? Absolute perfection.

There is something so satisfying about making your own bread. Not only do you get that incredible fresh-out-of-the-oven smell, but you have complete control over what goes into your food. No hidden preservatives or additives—just wholesome, simple ingredients. As you can see at the end of the video, it made the ultimate ham, cheese, and pickle sandwich! 🥪✨

There is something truly magical about the North Norfolk coast before the rest of the world wakes up. 🌅

While working on a recent project, the morning light over Mundesley Beach was simply too spectacular not to capture. The way the high sunrise hits the cliffs and stretches across the sand reminds us just how lucky we are to call this coast home.

A massive thank you to follower Lee Tracy for requesting this one! 📸

I popped out to the beautiful village of Gimingham earlier today to capture this unique 360-degree aerial perspective. Did you know that a settlement has existed here since at least 400 AD? Recorded as 'Gimingeham' in the Domesday Book of 1086, the name translates to the "homestead of the family or followers of Gymi."

It has such a rich local history—from its 18th-century watermill site powered by the Mundesley Beck, to the medieval hall once owned by the Duchy of Lancaster, where John of Gaunt is said to have resided. Today, it remains one of North Norfolk's prettiest rural gems, packed with stunning flint cottages.
