1. Rapport - Spending this time with me before your wedding day, allows us to get to know each other further, build a rapport and gain trust.

2. Camera ready - Nervous at the idea of being on camera? Then get those nerves out of the way and get used to this ginger bearded fella pointing the camera in your direction. You’ll be a pro in no time.

3. Experiment - you’ve likely been searching for inspiration for a while by now and have hundreds of photo ideas saved to your phone. Even though my style is documentary, I obviously want to execute those bucket list shots for you. Time to find out which ones give you that ‘wow’ factor. Think of it as a rehearsal, with zero pressure!

Always soo busy taking photos of everyone else, that I often forget to take ones of me and my family.

For Father’s Day, I decided to change that and get our first proper family self-portrait done. Tripod, delayed timer and a quick sprint into position. All turned out great 🥰😍

Often, people tell me I’m lucky to do photography for my job. However, deep down, I know there was no luck about it. Many years of perfecting my craft. Making endless mistakes, seeking feedback (both positive and negative), countless moments of self-doubt and believing I wasn’t good enough. All to arrive where I am today. In a fortunate, but deserved position.

The exciting thing for me, is that I’ve recently rediscovered that love that pulled me in at the beginning. Love breeds passion and passion fuels my hunger to elevate my work. Better never stops!
