I have recently completed a brush up and colourisation of a sepia image and I have added the before and after picture to my photo section.

A Digital Repair and Restoration - This picture, of HMS King George V, had suffered some damage and deterioration including being split in two. The renewed B&W version brings clarity; however, images can have a sepia tone applied.

A Sticky Situation - The original image to be restored had been in a frame when the glass was broken. Parts of the image had stuck to the glass and so the picture could not be removed without tearing the image. The completed restoration was made from a high definition photograph of the image taken with the glass sections that were stuck to it.
