I am really enjoying shooting music-themed photos for The Welly Centre.

If you'd like a portrait session for your children, while raising money for this amazing resource, please contact me.

There is no set fee. I want this to be accessible to all families. On receipt of your photos simply pop your donation in a sealed envelope, with your name on the front and I'll hand it over to Christine. As a guide a minimum £40 contribution is recommended plus a small additional cost to cover a set of 7x5 proof prints plus a memory stick containing all the finished images, which I will provide.

This little flautist was a complete delight at her session.

Would you love to have some beautiful photos of your kids? Would you love to rasie some funds for a worthwhile cause at the same time? Now is your chance.

I've had a bit of a FB holiday but I'm back and I've been busy. I've been working on a project to raise money for The Wellingborough Music Centre. This amazing resource provides musical tuition for any child who wants it. The chance to play in some fabulous music groups and take part in concerts and events is something which should be open to all kids. The Welly Centre is 50-years-old this year so was I! So to celebrate I'm offering a limited number of portrait shoots for parents of musicians and all money from these shoots will go to the Centre. There's no fixed fee, I want this to be open to everyone regardless of budget. I ask for a 'sensible contribution'. As a guide a minimum £40 contribution is recommended plus a small additional cost to cover a set of 7x5 proof prints plus a memory stick containing all the finished images, which I will provide.

In return I will come to your home (if you are between Raunds and Wellingbrough), or we can work at The Music Centre if you prefer. I will work with your kids over 1-2 hours to produce music-themed portraits These bespoke photo-shoots are very special and will generate images you will treasure for a lifetime.

Contact me to arrange your session.

The photos featured here are all from one session with a very musical family in their own home.

Once again it has been my privilege and pleasure to photograph the talented dance students of Manor School in Raunds. This was a dress rehearsal for a performance taking place tonight. If you are attending you are in for an absolute treat.

Sometimes it's about the details...the little things. The chubby toddler legs in sweet dungarees and the fact he wants to see over the top of the counter!

Sometimes it's the details that are most evocative. Let me capture some of life's little details for you. Contact me at www.debragrantphotography.co.uk

I was so excited to visit Antony Gormley’s installation Another Place recently. I’d travelled up to Liverpool for a friend’s birthday and deliberately booked a hotel overlooking Crosby beach just so I could go to see The Iron Men. For anyone who has never been, Another Place consists of 100 cast-iro...

This morning was my first venture outside in a few days as I've been recovering from flu. But I was itching to take some photographs. Daffodils are such icons of spring but they are so difficult to photograph well. They are super bright and top-heavy and a bit blousey and they can look slightly comical and even a bit vulgar in photos. But in spite of all that they are one of my favourite flowers. They are just so cheerful. What's not to like? :-) And the light was just wonderful first thing. If there's one thing I like more than a cheerful yellow daff it's a cheerful yellow daff back-lit by sunlight!

Yesterday we were walking on Crosby beach. We went to see Gormley's Another Place. While we were there one of my friends spotted a photographer taking a picture of this solitary decaying rose. I asked if he'd placed it there, "No...but I was made-up to see it!" he said. So was I. It was a gift to any photographer wandering by! I particularly liked the broken reflection.

If you would like a fine art photography print or canvas visit my website or scroll through my FB page to check out my other images.

Anyone who has met Archie knows that he is not the brightest canine in the pound. But he's adorable and it amused me to find him guarding a book I'd left on the floor. I couldn't resist adding a pair of specs, then I felt guilty for taking advantage of his good nature, so gave him a treat...so really it was a win-win situation right? ;-)
