S A M U R I.
This was a special car to see at . I have mentioned on here previously that Spike Anderson, the revered mastermind behind Samuri's famous 'Z' cars was someone I had gotten to know through a family connection, a raconteur of the highest order with motorsport tales that were just extraordinary.
Sadly, the news came through just a couple of weeks ago that Spike had passed away, so to see the Capri on track bearing the Samuri legend was a touching moment, especially to see Win Percy's name on roof - a driver Spike so fondly about.
Driven by the father and daughter team of Richard and Alice Locke (.classic.racing) in the Gerry Marshall Trophy at the weekend. I'm sure Spike would have loved to have seen Win's car back on track where it belongs.
