⚽️ FC Savs vs Newsome FC

Brilliant game of football on Tuesday night. After absorbing Newome’s pressure from kick off, FC Savs took the lead midway through the first half.

Newsome’s intensity and continued pressure proved to be crucial for their equaliser, forcing an error from FC Sav’s goalkeeper and defence which gifted them a well deserved goal.

Sav’s weren’t done, and ‘should’ve been a hat trick hero’ (after missing an earlier 1-1) was first to a high ball, leaving the goalkeeper in no man’s land and finishing with a great header.

Great performance 👏

After going in 1-1 at half time, Kells came out for the second half in better spirits scoring 4 goals and winning the game 5-1 🏆

Normanton Knights ARLFC U16'S Girls - I’ve said it before but this rugby club is a huge part of the community and they put a lot of effort in to young people, from early ages right through to open age. Brilliant rugby club 👏 Normanton Knights ARLFC

FC Savs - Adults football team, great set of lads and good team to watch. They do a lot of work for mental health charity too, and remember their close friend in every game they play!

Its a real privilege to work with such groups 🤝

Great to be back at the Kells yesterday with my mate Bill Sweeting Photography 📸

After a shaky start that saw Nostell take the lead, the Kells lads pulled their fingers out and got to work finishing the game 6-1, with some great football and finishing on display 👏
