Taken last summer at Roydon Common.
The purple heather was in full bloom and I was hoping I might see a deer.
I walked around a corner and this one stood there looking at me, my heart was in my mouth and he stayed there long enough for me to get a few shots

Badger set or foxes den?
At first I thought foxes but I’ve found s**t right by one of the entrances and it has seeds/pips in it so I’m now thinking badger?

So I went out this evening with a tip off about a foxes den. I went over and inspected and there are two large holes, entrance and exit… but I found this p**p right by it and I’m leaning more towards badgers…. Does anyone know whose p**p this is? 😂

Love this time of year but it is pretty hard to actually see any wildlife with all the long grass and crops

Sometimes you can hit it just right and get some amazing unexpected wildlife photos. Another time you can sit for hours and nothing….
It’s always a little frustrating when the latter happens as I don’t really get a huge amount of time to get out!
