First meeting at 14 years, old in a hair studio in Manchester.
Mike had gone in for a short back and sides. A young beautiful auburn haired sweepstress (Angela) dressed in black, came over to run her fingers through his hair while washing it. How could he not start to fall in love?

This went on for months, before Mike had to change salons and thought he had lost his auburn princess forever?

But fate had other ideas...

They were to meet again in the late 90's at the Discotheque Royale, Manchester. Mike was tapped a few times on the shoulder before finally turning around to be greeted with the older, even more beautiful Angela. He'd never heard her speak before and for the first time he got to hear her sweet voice. What did she say to him?

"Are you Margaret Bishop's son" 😄

He ditched his friends and they chose to get to know one another. Taking her number but forgetting her name 🤦‍♀️It didn't matter. All was instantly forgiven and they went on to create a whirlwind of memories, two beautiful children and onto finally marrying at this stunning private location in Wales , Llanidloes. With 30 of their closest nearest and dearest to celebrate a love meant to last.
It was a wonderfully cosy, intimate day - a celebration not just of a wedding, but of a lifetime of almosts, reunions and choosing each other again and again.

Some love stories are written over decades.

Theodore Alan Evans Christening 💙

18 years together. 15 years trying for baby Theo and after countless rounds of IVF support in the UK, they travelled to Athens and caught with their first round there.
Carly and Phil have mentioned they have been so lucky to have such wonderful friends and family to help them get through so much of their journey, with a special mention to Kacey Evans. Without her, it would have been so much harder.
They decided to celebrate Theo's life and christening on their 6th wedding anniversary, in the same church they were married in :)

After meeting as colleagues first, then quickly becoming friends.
They couldn't deny the connection they felt between them.
Their morals, ethics and sense of humour aligning so well that it made sense to do life together and they admit, it's been so easy because of those important alignments.
Best friends, lovers and now man and wife.
Over seven incredible years, they have woven a tapestry of memories, laughs, adventures and milestones. The most precious of all, becoming parents to their extraordinary little girl, their miracle born through IVF, a testament to hope, love and perseverance.

Stacey & Dave's Renewal 💜

20 years ago, Stacey & Dave met at our very own Crystal palace. Where I'm sure many other local couples first met and eventually married 😉
Dave lit the spark with a lighter & a lift. His charm working so well that she passed over her number, which was usually out of character.
6 weeks of dates and to save some pennies for the short term, she had moved in and when the time came to find somewhere new, Dave confessed he'd like Stacey to stay for good.
They married the first time in a bit of a rush 11 years ago, so that Stacey's wonderful Mother could be present.
Dave, obviously still very in love with Stacey, asked to renew and here they are. Professing once again, in front of those they love the most, that they are still very much choosing one another 😍

I love a renewal because it shows that if you keep watering that grass, it stays beautifully green 💚 Stace Steele

Mark & Carly

After meeting each other while attending YFC events, they didn't start dating until the summer of 2013.
Proceeded to move in together in 2016 and decided to add two of their own baby boy's, together with Mark's beautiful daughter Neve.
Everything about their marriage yesterday was so personal. Shared with everyone they love and hold dear. Not forgetting those special loved ones who couldn't be there to celebrate with them.
It was a honour to be trusted to capture such a personal event in their lives. Everyone you have surrounded yourselves with were so lovely and welcoming 🙂

It all began in June 2014.
With a swipe to the right...Yes, tinder ignited this spark.

They had their first date and never looked back.
Many wonderful adventures were had together and on one of those. Dubai. Ben got down on one knee at the top of the Buri Khalifa.
Shortly after, they decided to start a family, having two beautiful daughters and then as you can see, celebrated their union together as a family - all officially becoming "The Loiszs".
They were blessed yesterday with sunshine, love, fun, family and friends.

I've been taking a nice long break from posting on social media for many reasons but I'm still here and capturing beautiful memories for you all.
I'll be lucky enough to be witness and capturing Carly and Mark's marriage to one another this year, along with many more wonderful unions.
Here's a sneak peak of their beautiful family on a day out to Elan Valley.
It was drizzly and grey but it didn't dampen their moods, not even a little.
I'm so excited now, as I know after this mini shoot that they'll be plenty of in the moments to snap 😍
