Happy Birthday to my son, Charles! 🎉

My very first model and the one I used when I got my first camera. Many of my customers have met Charles over the years – he loves helping out and showing the children how to do the famous “Charles Wallace” pose 🤣.

I’m still off work until tomorrow, so if you send me a message, I’ll get back to you then. Thank you for your patience! 😊

I am now off work for the next two days as it’s my son Charles’ birthday tomorrow, and I have lots of preparations to do to make his day extra special.

I will not be responding to work messages, calls, or emails until Wednesday. I apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.

Family time is precious, and for the next couple of days my focus is on giving my little boy the best birthday possible. 🎂🎉

I’m back-to-back with home shoots all weekend, but I’m also in the middle of finishing my back garden. I do apologise to any customers visiting this weekend if things look a little messy — the back doors will be open and the topsoil has just been delivered!

This is the last weekend we have to get the garden finished and ready for Charles’ 8th birthday on Tuesday, so we’re making the most of the time we have.

I’ve included a few photos: the first is from when I first got the house, the second shows the progress we’ve made, and hopefully by tomorrow I’ll be able to share the finished result!

🎉 Happy 6 Years in Business to Me! 🎉

Today marks 6 years of BW Photography, and I’m honestly over the moon! 🥳

Never in a million years did I think I’d make it to one year, never mind six. There have been so many challenges along the way, and plenty of people who tried to pull me down, but looking back at how far I’ve come makes me so proud.

Last year was definitely my best yet, especially being named among the Top 21 Photographers in the North East and Yorkshire in the Wedding Awards. That achievement meant so much to me and wouldn’t have been possible without all of my amazing customers.

Thank you to every single person who has booked with me, liked and shared my posts, recommended me to friends and family, and supported my business over the years. I truly couldn’t do it without you all. ❤️

Here’s to another 6 years of capturing memories and meeting wonderful people! 🥂📸

I’ll be going live in half an hour (well, hopefully Charles will be! 😂). Fingers crossed there are no tears this time and that he remembers what he’s supposed to say! 🤣
