Tomorrow marks the opening of my new exhibition,

looking closer, and finding beauty in the everyday.

Commissioned to capture the Formula DJ event rhythm place purpose — an incredible night of music, energy, and community. From the atmosphere on the dancefloor to the DJs in full flow, these images tell the story of a crowd completely lost in the sound. Documenting moments like these is exactly why I love event photography: the people, the movement, the raw connection.

“When Colours Talk — Street Photography in Newton Abbot & Totnes”

Sometimes, it’s not just the people or the light that catch your eye — it’s the colours calling out to one another.
In Newton Abbot and Totnes, I found these fleeting moments where tones grouped naturally: blue meets shadow, peach follows pavement, red and stripes walk into sun.

Street photography teaches you to recognise rhythm in real life — not just movement, but in palette and placement.

These scenes, captured on the Fujifilm X100VI with Classic Chrome, remind me that the street always paints its own picture — if you’re watching.

“Exeter Street Photography – Candid Life Through the X100VI”

Spent the afternoon wandering through the streets of Exeter with the Fujifilm X100VI in hand — observing passing stories, human connection, and subtle interactions against the backdrop of rich architecture and urban charm.

There’s something endlessly fascinating about street photography — it’s unscripted, honest, and constantly changing. These moments are fleeting, but with a camera like the X100VI, they’re never missed.

Each of these images reflects a different side of Exeter’s character — from cobbled shopping lanes to spontaneous reunions outside the museum. I always aim to photograph the quiet poetry in everyday life: movement, connection, and texture.

Using the Fujifilm X100VI for this series allowed me to work with available light and capture colour and contrast without disruption. A reminder that some of the most powerful images happen when you’re simply present and ready.

“Totnes through my lens”

Had Friday afternoon off work, so I took the chance to wander the streets of Totnes with my Fujifilm x100vi — the town I grew up in. It’s changed a lot since I lived there, but its quirky charm and colourful character haven’t faded.

From rug stalls to coffee corners and candid characters — everything felt rich with stories and texture.
And yes, that last shot is me holding a Leica… one I could only dream of owning (for now). Might be time for a lottery ticket! 😂

“Drive to the sun”

Sat outside my local, .taphouse in Newton Abbot, soaking up a beer and the last of the sun — then this VW camper rolls up.
A classic VW camper, golden hour light dancing through the trees… and thankfully, I had my camera with me.
Sometimes you don’t need to chase the shot — it drives right up to you.
Couldn’t resist capturing the tones, the textures, and that little slice of summer nostalgia.

“Nature’s Garlic Bread”
Wild garlic season is in full swing and the woods have basically turned into nature’s version of an Italian deli.
If you’ve ever walked through a forest and thought, “Wow, it smells like someone’s prepping dinner,” you’ve probably stumbled into a patch of ramsons.

Personally, I love the stuff—fresh, punchy, and everywhere right now. My Italian partner? Not a fan. Yes, the woman raised in Italy turns her nose up at Devon’s finest foraged bouquet. (The betrayal.)

These photos were taken on a sleepy Sunday in Staverton, South Devon—just off one of the River Dart’s estuaries. It’s the kind of place where time slows down and all you can hear is birdsong, footsteps on leaves, and the occasional toddler yelling for snacks.

Shot on my current photographic love affair: the Fujifilm X100VI.
Yes, it’s overhyped. And yes, it deserves it.
