Today I had a go at free lensing thanks to a workshop by the wonderful Melanie Grace Photographer and I am so in love with them. Thank you Mel. These were shot in a 5 minute window right outside my front door!

We don’t really ‘do’ Valentine’s Day as it was my birthday a few days ago and I’d much rather a spontaneous display of affection than one dictated by the shops however it is lovely to see my news feed filled with soppy declarations of love 💕

All the squishy cheeked goodness with this not so little newborn!
I first photographed his family many moons ago and have since photographed many an occasion including his parents awesome wedding.
He was an absolute pro for his at home photoshoot and definitely showed us all how to sleep like a newborn!!!!

At the end of last year we booked to go to Longleat Festival of Light to celebrate our daughter turning 7. We all got sick. We couldn't go. We were devastated. I decided to email them with a tiny sliver of hope that we perhaps could change the date. They agreed!!! We were delighted.
It was so worth the extra weeks' wait. The animals all seemed pleased to see us and this little cutie especially so. As a breastfeeding mother (and previous peer supporter and very vocal advocate) I have always expressed our rights to feed whenever baby wanted or needed to. However this wee one took things to a new extreme. Bringing traffic to a total halt to feed in the middle of the road and then refuse to unlatched whilst glancing around! I winced!!!
If you've never been I highly recommend the festival of lights. It's magical. We were fortunate to get a crisp dry day and so much time to explore (we even tackled the maze!)
We will definitely go back again.

This weekend I will mostly be ‘finally’ sorting my tax return so I don’t have to stress about it during my very busy week next week.

Happy New Year Everyone.
Sorry it’s been so quiet, I’ve been very busy!
I absolutely love the run up to Christmas but it can also get very chaotic for us Mums!
I am lucky enough to get invited to photograph at multiple nurseries, preschools and schools during the festive run up. Sadly a downside of this is I rarely meet the parents so getting consent to share images isn’t easy.
So I was delighted to be allowed to share these of Rowan and Arwenna! I first met them a few years back when they were no where near as tall but just as cheeky!!!
I promise to try to post more regularly this year.
I hope you’ve all had a good start to 2020. Any resolutions?
