The Fighting Dragons of Ara 🐉
Also known as the Firebird Nebula 🐦‍🔥

A star forming nebula sculpted by massive young stars that have recently formed, some only a few million years old. This spark of formation was probably caused when the last batch of stars went supernova.
Located 4000 light years away from us in the constellation Ara.

Captured around this time last year from New Zealand. Processed with pixinsight, colour channels altered using pixel math to create a false colour image
