I canβt believe I have just finished hosting my second group retreat here on the Isle of Wight and honestly it has been beyond anything I could have imagined. From golden sunset walks to bodyboarding in a storm from paint fights and paint twister to off roading in land rovers , zorb balls, scavenger hunts, blind manβs bluff, hide and seek and so much more.
What I love most is that it is not just about the fun and games, it is about creating a space where people feel safe enough to let their inner child come out to play. In between all the laughter and silliness there were moments of journaling, of reconnecting with feelings, of mindfulness, of breath work, and the deep stillness of sound bowl healing with guided meditation.
Healing does not have to be boring, it can be colourful and playful and full of laughter. It can be running into the sea, painting your whole body, or collapsing in giggles with people you have only just met but already feel close to π₯Ή
I feel so lucky to have shared this with such an incredible group and I am already so excited for the retreats to come next year. It makes me so emotional that people want to come so much they make a huge trip down to be apart of it π₯Ή just wow!
They also get professional photos and an entire vlog that documents all the memories from this. Core memories were definitely made π₯°
