A select few from today's visit to The Wildheart Trust. It was lovely to check out the new dome walkthrough for the lemurs, it is such a great habitat for them, and a huge bonus in that you can take photos without cage bars!

Not much luck getting shots of the tigers & servals today.. but hoping to return next week!😃🐯

Not long now until the zoos reopen, and I can't wait to get back, armed with a brand new camera and a desperate urge to be out in the world again😂

Looking forward to seeing some of the beautiful animals I've missed so much ❤️

Since upgrading from a laptop to a PC the improved graphics card has meant that looking back at some of my older pictures shows that the colour quality was pretty 'off' on a lot of them. In the next few weeks I'll be redoing some of my older edits in hope of doing them more justice..
To start with, the illustrious peacock :)

As lockdown 3.0 continues, I'm just craving being able to go back out and see my favourite Siamang Gibbon again!

Remember to support your local zoos and wildlife centres throughout this difficult time for them. Purchase an adoption pack, or see if they have an Amazon Wishlist where you can help buy supplies for the animals!

As another lockdown descends upon us, the chance to go out and get photos is sadly limited. On the bright side... it gives me a chance to go through my old hard drive and see if I can 'bring alive' any of my sub-par photos from years gone by...

So last Saturday & today I had the pleasure of visiting Monkey Haven once again and all it's beautiful residents. I have over 800 photos to go through and edit in the next few evenings, but for now here's a quick one of the beautiful Xhabu, one of my favourite boys!

I took this photo 5 or 6 years ago, with a cheap little point and click panasonic. Still love it to this day!
I don't think I'll ever be able to afford a decent camera, I still have my old trusty D3200 from way back when.. but sometimes I think, yes the images may be a bit grainy, or less sharp than you'd want, but for me it's really about the moments captured. ❤️
