Jackie & Ed got married at the stunning Mansion House last month and booked me just a week before the wedding day, having only just decided to have an official photographer!! It was a fab day and I really hope this sneak peek will convince them that they've done the right thing. Lots more to follow very soon!!! Enjoy! :-)

Am nursing sunburnt shoulders this morning while going through some of my images from yesterday's brilliant wedding! Never before have I giggled with a bride so much - during the ceremony - as I did with Vicky at her wedding to Matt yesterday. Felt bit naughty but she needed a bit if light relief from the seriousness of the situation so I was pleased to be able to help!! It was an absolutely awesome day though and I can't wait to wade my way through the masses of images! Congratulations both - hope the party was a riot! Sneak peek undoubtedly to follow!!! I'm so excited to be able to share this sneak peek from Catherine & Sadat's wedding... it was such a wonderful fusion of cultures and experiences. It's not often I get treated to a piano and opera concert as part of a wedding, but I thoroughly enjoyed this one almost as much as I did the rest of the day! Congratulations you two!! The rest will be winging their way to you soon!! Can't wait to hear what you think! :-) ###

This is a bit of a bumper 'sneak peek' as there were just soooo many to choose from that I couldn't narrow it down any more. So I gave up and decided to put lots in instead! Caroline & Ben's wedding at Clearwell Castle was a ridiculously fun wedding to shoot and, bless her, Caroline was amazing as she had a slipped disk in her back and had to keep sitting down every few mins. I've never carried a chair out on my portrait locations before but there's a first for everything!! I’ve been shooting weddings for 16 years now and, although I’ll often get a little nervous before a wedding, it’s rare that I’ll have sleepless nights and spend weeks before the wedding revising, practising and reviewing specific techniques!

However, when I agreed to photograph Adele & Matt’s wedding and then the penny dropped that their 4pm wedding on Bonfire Night would be practically in the dark, I knew this was this exactly what I needed to do! And boy am I glad I did!

Who’d have thought lots of these images were taken in virtually no natural light at all??!!

I adore Abergavenny Castle... the colours, the textures... and what was even better on this shoot was that I got a little model who was totally in love with his awesome vintage camera! This little fella (not to mention his mum and dad!) were awesome to photograph... !

Adele and Matt's wedding was one of the lushest (if that's a proper word!!) but most challenging weddings I've done for ages due to the general lack of light after their 4pm ceremony!! Judging by this grab shot from the back of my camera though, I'd say all the flash challenges and effort was worth it! Plenty more where this came from Adele & Matt... watch this space!!! ;-) ###

My first real autumnal shoot of the season - and it was fab. Give me a bride who prefers fallen leaves to confetti and we're guaranteed to get along brilliantly! I can't wait to shoot Adele & Matt's wedding on Bonfire Night, especially after the fun we had at the pre-shoot! :-) :-)

Spent a very lovely morning with my family checking out some great photo spots for my this morning and love that, despite having photographed at lots of times before, there are still some great locations I've never found before!
