🎄✨Christmas Magic in Manchester✨🌧️📸
This Sunday I swapped sunshine for classic Manchester weather and photographed one of the most vibrant festive events in the UK - the Manchester Christmas Parade 2025. And yes, it was absolutely pouring… but honestly, that just added to the story. 😅
Stilt walkers dressed as candy canes, dancing elves, giant puppet Santas, drummers, Christmas trees on legs (not kidding), and crowds who refused to let the rain stop the fun. Manchester brought pure festive energy from start to finish.
As a travel photographer, I love capturing moments that show a city’s true character, and nothing sums up Manchester Christmas celebrations more perfectly than thousands of people smiling through sideways rain. 🌧️🎅❤️

You know you’ve done Paris properly when your feet go on strike by Day Three, but your sisters are still raring to see ‘just one more monument!’ Our four-day escapade included conquering the many steps of Sacré-Coeur, nearly getting lost (on purpose) in the streets of Montmartre, and pretending we belonged in those glossy La Défense skyscrapers.

Never has a city tested both our stamina and appetite quite like Paris—although the endless croissants might have something to do with that. Missing it so much but at least we’ve got the photos…to prove it! Bon voyage (until next time)!

🌍✨ Just back from an incredible three days at the World Travel Market in London, and wow—I’ve got so much to share! ✈️🌏

I spent those days completely immersed in the world of travel, and let me tell you, the future looks exciting! One of the standout talks was by Dave Goodger, who revealed the hottest travel trends for 2024. 🗺️

Here are some key highlights: 🌐 Tourism is back—we’re looking at 1.5 billion international arrivals this year alone! And it’s expected to hit 2 billion by 2030. People are definitely prioritizing their travel plans, even with rising costs.
💰 Slow travel is trending—Instead of quick getaways, more people are taking longer trips to really soak in the culture and connect with locals. It’s all about quality over quantity!
🌱 Sustainability is the way forward—I attended an inspiring talk by Wiebe Walker, who drove all the way from Amsterdam to Sydney in an electric car. 🚗⚡ His journey shows that eco-friendly travel is not just possible but super rewarding.

Oh, and guess what? In just two months, I’ll be traveling to China to celebrate the Chinese New Year in Beijing! 🎉🎆 I can't wait to experience the festivities firsthand and share it all with you.

Just last month I returned from the most exhilarating 24 hours in Milan! 🇮🇹 Who knew a spontaneous flight booking could lead to such an unforgettable adventure? From driving through the night (thanks to a McDonald's coffee at midnight) to exploring the breathtaking Bosco Verticale and riding charming old trams, it was non-stop excitement.

Highlights include:

Spinning on the bull's mosaic for good luck at Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II (because why not? 😂)

Climbing to the rooftop of the Duomo for panoramic city views (and an unexpected workout)

Indulging in the best carbonara EVER at Osteria da Fortunata (still dreaming about it 🍝)

Dashing to catch our flight with pizzas in hand from Savô Pizzeria Gourmet (made it just in time!)

Not long ago me and my partner returned from a delightful 24-hour trip to Girona and I couldn’t wait to share the experience with you all! 🌟 This quick escape was filled with incredible food, lovely wine, and the refreshing taste of Estrella. 🍷🍺

✨🚡 Sky-High Adventures Over London! 🚡✨

What happens when you combine a windy day, a fearless trio (my son, sister, and me), and a desire to see London from a different perspective? A thrilling ride on the London Cable Car, that's what! 🌬️💺

We embarked on this adventure from the IFS Greenwich Peninsula Terminal (SE10 0FR) all the way to the IFS Cloud Royal Docks (E16 1FA), and let me tell you, it was nothing short of spectacular. For just £6 one-way or £12 round trip, we soared over the Thames, embracing the gusts and getting a bird's-eye view of the city’s iconic landmarks. 🏙️🎟️

The ride itself was a mix of exhilarating and peaceful moments (yes, even with the wind trying to join in on the fun!). From high above, London unfolded in a way we've never seen before – it was like discovering a whole new side of the city. 🌉👀

And here's a little tip: Riding the cable car when it's windy adds an extra layer of excitement (or challenge, depending on how you see it)! It’s like London’s natural theme park ride, offering both thrills and stunning views. 🎢🌬️

Whether you're a Londoner or just visiting, I can’t recommend this experience enough. It’s a unique way to see the city, have a bit of an adventure, and maybe, just maybe, get a new profile picture out of it. 😉

Latest adventure took me to the stunning city of Zurich, Switzerland! 🇨🇭 From amazed at the beauty of roses adorning the city's fountains to enjoying a mouth-watering Raclette, it's been a day to remember. I strolled through the charming Old Town, and relaxed by Lake Zurich. 🌹🧀🏞 Every moment was picture-perfect, filled with beauty, culture, and delicious cuisine.
