Llantarnam ponds

Used my Nikon d7500 with the Nikon 200-500mm lens. I think The two swans were last years Signet's, with purple beaks and a few brown feathers left. I love how elegant these birds really are. I think the black and white and darkening of the background really highlights this. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did taking it ๐Ÿ˜Š

Taken on Skomer Island, we were very luck with the boat trips as either side of ours were cancelled, I hired a 100_500mm lens to go with a R5ii and grabbed this amongst others.

It was taken at Newquay Cornwall

It was taken with my Nikon D7500 using the Nikon 200?500mm lens.
Shutter: 1/2500 sec
Aperture: f/14
ISO: 1000

I spent all day trying to get a shot of these agile birds in flight and started to think it was impossible to get them in focus, until thankfully I got this one. They are such a striking bird, with their red chin and shiny blue body. It was a privilege to watch the barn swallow perform their aerial acrobatics.

This photo was taken while I was in Germany visiting family a couple of weeks ago. I came cross this lovely dandelion plant in the shadows of the tress, it stood out as it was just lit by the sun.
