In my garden in Gilwern, Monmouthshire, UK

I was in our garden watching the bees, overloaded with pollen, flying around the flowers of our hibiscus plant and saw this little fellow taking a rest.

The image was taken with my Canon R7 with a Canon 50mm prime lens, using the following settings:
f5/6, 1/400, ISO 125, EXP-0.3, post processed with Affinity 2.65 / NiK Collection

At the Sugar Loaf carpark, Abergavenny, Monmouthshire, UK

Following a very hot day, we went up to the mountains for some cooler air and the scene before me looked interesting with the sun starting to set. I took the image in colour but somehow I thought there is another perspective to this shot by converting it to a Black and White image.

The image was taken with my Canon R7 and Canon EF 17-40mm lens taken at 31mm. f/9, 1/500, ISO 100, Exp. Com -1.7.
I post processed the image in Affinity 2 and Nik Collection Silver Efex. Pro 2

Its a little tricky getting down to the falls and I was in water to he top of my thighs, trying to get this pic. The people swimming and paddling made it difficult to get the pic I wanted but I am very happy with this.
Taken on a Canon R5 ii, Canon 24-105mm usm "L" mark ii set at 70mm, f/9, S/S 0.4
3 stop ND filter, Tripod mounted.

In my garden in Gilwern, Monmouthshire, UK

I was sat in the garden and spotted the flowers emerging on my Borretsch plant, which I grew from seeds. The fine details and colour of the flowers encouraged me to get the camera out and take close up shot.
The image was taken with my Canon R7 and 50mm Prime lens.
f4.5, 1/1000, ISO 100, Exp Comp. -0.7
and post processed in Affinity /NiK Collection

Llantarnam ponds

Used my Nikon d7500 with the Nikon 200-500mm lens. I think The two swans were last years Signet's, with purple beaks and a few brown feathers left. I love how elegant these birds really are. I think the black and white and darkening of the background really highlights this. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did taking it ๐Ÿ˜Š
