Manchester Ship Canal scenes on the ELR yesterday afternoon and into the night!

32 ‘Gothenburg’ was at the head of a short goods consist with some prototypical wagons that would’ve been found on the MSC network, seen galloping along at Burrs and the newly cleared Touch Hill Cutting.

The night shots took place in Castlecroft Yard with 4002 ‘Arundel Castle’ joining the lineup to create some atmospheric memories of Mode Wheel Shed…
