This photography malarkey can be so, so stressful, too much of a chore, at times hardly enjoyable at all...

But not for me :-) :-)

If photography stresses you, you are doing it wrong, or perhaps editing it wrong, or more likely, worrying about the details no one ever notices and if they do, who cares?

Anyway....

I had a photoshoot at the Sage today with some friends who happen to be brilliant cosplayers and I thought I would post one picture as a teaser, just one.... I narrowed it down to 50 !

So I literally closed my eyes and pointed at the screen and this is where the fickle finger of fate pointed.... at Kate.

It has been a while since I simply went out on a walk with my camera and shared the spoils of the day.

Why is that by the way?

I am having far too much fun doing lots of other photography projects, youtube videos, events, shoots and so on to even miss it :-)

Anyway, back on track, here's some pictures from a yomp in south and north shields today via the ferry.

Well now....

Not only in another magazine - Envyd Magazine (In Studio edition) with some pictures Ela and I shot, but we made one of the covers and they included me too (you don't have to look at that part though :-) ).

Many Lightroom videos exist in order to demonstrate specific techniques, or new versions, or new features and there is nothing wrong with that!

However a subscriber asked if I could "just edit things", show my approach to recovering images, or breathing new life in them, regardless of if this uses basic and simple edits, or complex masking and say colour grading.

So here is the first of exactly that - plain and simple editing in Lightroom!

I have called it Part #01 and will periodically add to that count as my channel continues to grow.
