With us having three midweek weddings this week, we’ve quite honestly lost all semblance of what day it is. After all, it is summer, which means we’re well into the thick of the wedding season whirlwind.

What we do know however is just how amazing Kayleigh and Ross both looked yesterday for their wedding at Charlton Hall.

The lads opted to go full black from head to toe - John Wick style - and they absolutely nailed it.

Kayleigh looked incredible too (of course she did), but what was equally lovely was just how nice yesterday was.

The sun was shining, but not too hot. They had canapés and ice cream on tap, and guests just sat around, chatting and enjoying themselves all day.

We had such a lovely time with everyone and it really was a privilege to photograph their wedding, especially since Chris photographed their little girl back in 2020 when she was a newborn. It just tied everything together beautifully.

Congratulations guys and thank you for an amazing day!

We do love Scotland and even more so a wedding in Scotland, so we were so looking forward to photographing Carly and Scott’s wedding at the start of the month.

They decided to have a DIY wedding in the back garden of a family member and you’ll see from this little video just how lovely it was.

We had a great day with everyone and it’s been lovely looking back through their day

Our first time shooting a wedding at The Hidden Oak, and Jon and Zoe gave us a pretty great introduction.

These guys know how to party. Sunshine, good people, a motorbike, plenty going on and, because why not, wedding day tattoos thrown into the mix!

Here’s a little look into their day.

Our second wedding of the weekend saw us at Beamish Hall yesterday, but this one was a bit different.

Terri and Owen decided to have their day in a different order, by doing their couple portraits before their ceremony.

So we headed off to Durham before guests had even arrived. This gave us chance to visit a few of their favourite spots, included the Dun Cow Inn, which is a favoured drinking spot of theirs.

Seemed quite apt then that their preview image was of them both, outside the pub, enjoying a drink together.

Congratulations guys and thank you for a fab day.

We were at Barn on the Bay yesterday to capture Beth and Callum’s wedding day.

A day began up on the dunes with Love Jo leading a beautiful ceremony. Then it was back down to the barn for all manner of shenanigans before guests enjoyed their wedding breakfast.

We did manage to sneak in a visit to the beach where we had a lovely walk around with them both.

The day was by no means done as we finished up with a cracking game of Bongos Bingo. The whole barn was bouncing as everyone had a great time.

Thank you both for making us feel so welcome and congratulations once again!

It’s been nearly two weeks since we visited Barn on the Bay to photograph Amanda and Vicky’s wedding, and we really can’t get enough of looking through all the happy memories from their day.

From laid-back mornings with the family, to fun tractor rides up to the dunes, their day had everything… even our brides serving their own cake to guests!

There is so much to unpack from their day but for now, we’ve created this short video as a glimpse into their amazing day by the beach!

It’s hard to describe just how much we enjoyed yesterday with Carly and Scott but we’ll do our best.

Firstly they didn’t have a big, flamboyant wedding. They kept it super laid-back and had a DIY wedding in the back garden of their Auntie’s house.

Everything had to be sourced and put together. The decor, the food and all the little details came with that lovely DIY feel to them. We lovely every wedding, of course we do, but this one was right up our street.

There’s also something lovely about heading up to Scotland. Everyone was just so friendly and we had a great day wandering, snapping and chatting away with all their friends and family.

Everyone was so generous, including the lovely gentleman who kindly offered his Land Rover for the photographs. As you can see we put it to good use.

This image is just the start and definitely not the last you’ll see of Scott and Carly.

For now, we’re throwing out the biggest congratulations for you both and another huge thank you for having us there with you!

Yesterday was our first time photographing a wedding at The Hidden Oak and it was pleasure to capture Jon and Zoe’s day.

From start to finish it was the perfect balance of super laid-back and full tilt boogie. Guests enjoyed every moment of the day, sitting in the sunshine.

They also hired a tattoo artist for the afternoon and it was great to capture them both getting their wedding day tattoos.

Congratulations guys and thank you for an amazing day!

There really are no rules when it comes to planning a wedding.

Yesterday, Vic and Dan completely ditched the traditional timeline and made the day work exactly how they wanted it to. We met up before the ceremony for photos of just the two of them, wandered around town for a bit, then headed to the Civic Centre where they were married surrounded by their closest family.

Afterwards everyone headed into town for a meal together. Simple, relaxed and completely centred around spending time with the people who matter most.

We love days like this. Huge congratulations to you both.
