So…..

After giving this a lot of thought and after numerous discussions with the missus, the time has come for me to stop trading at markets and events around the north-east with immediate effect. Truth be told, my hearts just not in it anymore, my confidence has took a battering and self-doubt has took over well and truly. Combine all of that with the ever changing do’s and don’ts from market organisers and rules applying to some and not others, it’s simply time to walk away. It’s time to spend more time with the family and to get back out and find my love for photography again in the process, reminding myself of the reason that this page even exists in the first place - to keep on top of my mental health and stay healthy.

Thank you to each and everyone one of you who has stopped by our stall over the years, to the organisers (the decent ones anyway 😉) and fellow traders for supporting this part of my journey.

What’s next you ask? My stock that I had ready for the year ahead will be listed on eBay (and maybe Vinted) in the coming weeks and there’s the possibility of setting up a website a bit further down the line. After that? Who knows…..

Final preparations are underway for our first market of the year! This Saturday you can find us back at Blyth Marketplace with Brightside Events NE and a host of wonderful traders and food vans

I’ve been working hard behind the scenes since the turn of the year, learning the art of sublimation…. And printing my own slate coasters. There’s been a bit of trial and error and some of the successes are in the images below. Some will make their first appearance on Saturday, others are just for personal use. Just got to keep practising…..

Good evening everyone!

Hope you are all well? I’ve been busy behind the scenes sourcing new images, new stock and forming new ideas for this years markets and Fayre….. the first of which is just over a week away!

Been a quiet year photograph-wise, although market-wise, it’s by far been my busiest. Looking to get the balance right next year. Here are just a few of my favourite captures from 2025, the last one being of our adorable little Shark, oops I mean puppy 😂😂😂, Roxy. There’ll be plenty more to come of her next year I’m sure.

Now that the dust has settled on another busy year for us, Ally and I would like to thank you all for your support, comments, social media interactions and purchases this year. We have loved getting out and about around the north-east and meeting so many people who have felt a connection to my photography. We truly hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and hope you follow us into an exciting 2026

Special thanks goes to the market organisers who have allowed the space and the opportunity to showcase my work, Wavelength NE Ltd, Brightside Events NE, Lakeside Events NE and Purple Aura Events.

Lastly, none of what we’ve achieved this year would have been possible without the support of my amazing wife Allison. She has helped keep me organised and picked me up in times of self-doubt, helped manage the stalls and kept me sane. Thank you princess

We will now take a well-deserved break and be back in the new year, first public market provisionally end of Feb.

Last market weekend of the year and what a year it’s been! Thank you to each and every one of you who have stopped by the stall, browsed, chatted and purchased something. It’s really appreciated and has shown me that I’m doing something right.
