52 week film project

52 week film project 52 weeks - 52 different film stocks - lots of cameras & lots of satisfaction. No firm plans on what to shoot, just go with the flow & see what happens.

The plan is to shoot with at least one different film stock every week, for 52 weeks. I've built up a stock of over 60 different films types, negative & transparency - from 16mm to 4x5; B&W & colour.

First images from a series I think I'll call "Thinking inside the box": Expired Kodak Portra 400VC colour film in a 1930's Kodak No2 Brownie box camera. Amble car boot fair, Northumberland.
Need to get used to the framing using these tiny viewfinders!

Sorry there hasn't been any recent updates, but the project hasn't gone the way I had hoped. It needs more structure & more of a purpose, otherwise, it's just me doing what I do anyway - taking pictures on vintage cameras on film. Having a re-think & then I'll be back.

Resurrection.
I've been a little distracted from the project over the last couple of weeks - this one is from a 2005 expired Fujichrome Provia 100F, shot on my beast of a Mamiya C33. The Tetenal E6 developing kit is keeping very well ;)

Open image in full screen mode; stare at the white strip in between each picture; slowly cross your eyes until a third image appears in between; you should be able to see the 3D effect.

Expired 'Tudor' colour film;
Loreo 3D Stereo Camera;
Fujihunt C41 Dev Kit.
Last film from the photowalk in Newcastle on Sunday. Not the most refined of cameras, and only able to produce stereo portrait images. This is definitely one to only use in bright conditions & with fresh film! Tudor looks to be a type of Fuji film. Instructions on each image as to how to see the 3D image.

1993 Expired Ilford XP2 @ 320 asa;
Yashica 124G;
Developed in FujiHunt C41 Kit.
Happened across these protesters next to Grey's Monument. Known as 'Anonymous for the Voiceless' they were protesting against the treatment of animals in the food market. Only 9 shots this time (including the unintentional double exposure at the start) - definitely seems to be something wrong with the wind-on mechanism of the camera.

Expired Fujichrome 100F
Yashica 124G
Tetenal E6 Dev kit
Taken on a photowalk with like minded folk, around the Newcastle Quayside this morning. Sadly lost the last two images, due to the camera not winding on properly. Hope it's just a glitch, as this is one of my favourite cameras.

Week 11 - time for more experiments. I have had this Polaroid Pathfinder 120 camera for some time, with the intention of (some time) having it converted to take 4x5 darkslides. Well, that didn't happen, but looking at the back, it takes a 4x5 sheet nicely, and the pressure plate is tight enough to keep it in place. So I had a trip out with it today to test it out - Expired Kodak Tmax 100, shot at 80asa.
